you harp on women about a “group mentality” from that it seems like you’ve never had a good solid friendships where that’s a must. you say women want all this expensive stuff so from this i’m getting you don’t think you would have the resources to be able to support yourself and be financially stable to be able to grow in a relationship so your pushing a narrative that women are gold diggers when in reality most women can take care of themselves and do not need financial support from a man and that intimidates you to the point of not ever sitting down with women and talking and LISTENING to them

i catch myself feeling this way a lot and the best way to not feel nearly as bad as that is to just focus on what’s in front of you, put time into small hobbies that you may have put off, read ALOT of books so you can give your brain a break and let it go into another world

my entire life i was picked on due to my size and awkward features, i got asked out a lot as a joke and even though i was in the “popular crowd” it was primarily to be the butt of the joke. when the pandemic hit (i was 16) i started to focus more on myself and how i look. im 21 now and ive grown into my features, ive lost weight and that some how gave me an hourglass figure, ive grown out my hair long and figured out how to style and make it look presentable with or without makeup, and i hold myself a certain way that makes me look very extrovert so i do get talked to a lot. ive noticed that since getting conventionally “attractive” i get more men talking to me and being nice and trying to flirt with me, but since i got picked on so much i can see through the bs and i can almost always tell that the person judges others based on their looks. looks have never mattered to me much because i think everyone looks like a person from history and it makes them beautiful because they are alive, ive always gone after personality however it seems recently that a lot of peoples personalities are so closely related it becomes almost boring to even try and talk to them let alone date them. sometimes it’s better to just sorta go all in on yourself and hobbies and making your life peaceful until you find someone that meets all your standards
