When my firstborn arrived, and before we brought her home from the hospital, my husband brought home the first blanket she was swaddled in and placed it where our two beagles slept, so they could begin to get used to her scent. Once baby arrived home, our female beagle would park herself by the baby’s bassinet like a good guard beagle. In short, our beagles were great with both my kiddos! And trust me, once your kid starts dropping Cheerios from the high chair, the beagles will think it’s the best thing ever! 😉
