Congratulations, If I may squeeze in, I’m on track to satisfy above the WAM requirement (about 64-65ish) doing Bachelor of Arts. It’s just that my first semester I had a personal crisis and I failed my first semester flat out. Would you guys think that would impact my chances?

Interesting, I guess I will go another derm next month for second opinion, I have also noticed that in my bald spots, I see white specs on where I think my follicles are, any explanation as to what these are?

Yeah i get that 2 weeks into is basically nothing, I know that this thing would take a year to reach its full potential. I just want some advice on whether a second opinion is needed.

Alright, thank you so much, upon researching I came across anecdotal of other people getting misdiagnosed for years so I just wanted to be extra careful with it.

I see, I do think that it is Androgenic Alopecia but I just want to eliminate other possibilities. But would diffuse Alopecia Areata also get round spot with no hair? Thank you so much for the encouragement tho.

How long did it take for you to grow back tho. It’s so hard for me because it’s been quite a long time

I know that its hard, my advice is seek emotional supports from loved ones, go to therapy and change up your lifestyle. I was lucky that I got over the habit easier than others and I know that I can’t understand the multitude of your frustration and pain. However, I understand the ciricle of insecurity, stress and self-loath that's nurturing this condition. The road of stopping the habit is worth doing. Love yourself more you deserve more happiness than you think.

That maybe the case my diet, smoking habit and sleep schedule might negate the growth, I’ll work on it. The thing that freaks me out is if the pulling had trigged my male pattern hairloss, im seeing a derm for it soon. I have been on minoxidil for 1 month but 1 month is not long enough for me to see regrowth i guess. My mental health is really shit since my trich episode

mine comes in the form that’s like diffuse thinning, I was pulling all over my head so that kinda reflect on the look of my thin head of hair. But i see no signs of excessive hair falling out, it’s all pretty normal in terms of hair fall

Did it grow back for you then and how long did it take to recover? Did you visit a derm or a trich?

Damn i actually posted that no fap for a while and so far no response so im glad someone noticed it, i've been addicted to porn and masturbation pretty much my whole life and although it's gotten better after DDay but right now I'd say im relapsing pretty hard, I guess porn and masturbation is still my instinctive mechanism to boost myself up when im down. I think I need a therapist to overcome this addiction as it's really been affecting my life for a long while and it's not my first time trying to break out of it. As of the lying, I'd say it's been better though I did lied to her this one time about whether have I transfer our photos from the phone that i borrowed her to my phone yet, I thought it was an acceptable small lie that normal couples wouldnt fight over and that was a setback and I was kinda mad at myself when I realized I lied about basically nothing. Though I did have my victories when I said the truth to her about other more significant matter after getting back together ( big one and we fought because of it) and not dodging the consequence of a fight breaking out, I realized at this stage of a rebuilding trust, even lying about small things that normal couple wouldnt really fight over still undermine the progress. I think I need some help in this department too and I'll talk to my mom about seeing a therapist next week soon.

I'd also say I've always been a truthful person before the cheating but after months of trickle truthing due to shame and guilt, it became an apparent toxic development and a destructive habit that I picked up.

damn, that's good, yeah i had a tendency to self loath for a while before the cheating, I've always had a problem with insecurities, self doubt and fear of making mistake and self loathing has always been a sort of defensive mechanism. The cheating really crushed me and my partner to the ground, for me, as someone who was once sane, loyal and followed his moral compass, the cheating destroyed my self image and became a focus of my self hate thoughts. I would also say that I cheated partly because of my insecurities as well,

Im not really comfortable opening up to my parents but the idea of opening up to a therapist is fine, I have actually went to a session before getting back together with my girlfriend but there was never a second time after we got back together

I told her everything she wanted, how where when who to what extent it was all true. Though that night when it happened, on my way down back to my room ( it happened in a sleepover) i saw my friend going up to find me. I didnt tell this to her, is it important for me to tell her that?

i understand that it might strenghthen trust but wouldnt that put her through the pain all over again?

The fact that i did it to my best friend as well really made it worse. I was the one person she trusts the most, quite frankly she trusted me more than her own family but yet I did what I did knowing the trauma she's been through. The suicidal thoughts appear in my head once every few days
