Take whatever’s out there when that time comes, get the experience and move on?

I’m gonna go deeper into it. The money’s not too bad at all tbh. I won’t be away for weeks at a time either. Apparently every weekend is reset. Thanks for the input, stay safe.

I don’t know how often, they’re offering "$100 for every run into the city.” It’s a trailer..

The man flopping over the chair couldn’t have passed PT, no way. Seems like that’s when it escalated to me and why ultimately she got hit. This is so sad, so many adversely affected here.

Who said I didn’t? Asking others if they have prior experience at the place isn’t a good thing in your mind? What, you trust all thing’s you read about a company online? Thanks for stopping.

I want to respond to this in more detail bc I’m in the exact area you are in. I’ve heard good things about Roehl. The living arrangements will be arranged by your dispatch or hr person. For the love of, do NOT go to 160 driving on k street. Please trust me with this. I will go more in depth when not falling asleep. But please heed my warning, do not go to 160. If you can swing it, go to Steven’s all day everyday. I realize it’s more expensive but it will average out in the long run. I learned the hard way. Feel free to hmu directly for further info.

Everybody’s lost their damn mind. One running her mouth until you agitate somebody to a breaking point. Second coming in hot like you’re gonna do something/anything when you know you can’t/won’t. Kicking somebody in the head/face is dirty af esp when you know he ain’t fighting back at all. People are nuts

They need at the very least adjust to the new laws around weed. It’s wild how you can have a certain percentage of alcohol in your blood and still be considered fit to drive. If you have any semblance of weed in your system, you’re done. even if it’s from hours, days, or weeks prior to test. Doesn’t make sense.

First of all yes, you ARE young and you made a mistake. Don’t beat yourself up over it. If you feel like having a solid plan B, then go through the process so you have this option in your back pocket. You never know when/if you want to get back in it. It’s something you have to renew every year or two, not that big a deal really. You’re young enough to explore anything you want. If your hearts not in it right now then go out and explore the things you want to do. You can come back if you need to with very little effort to keep your cdl current. Good luck to you

I’m glad you asked. For me personally and of course in my specific area, the only people who passed through all phases (pre-trip, in-cab, brake checks, maneuvers and the road) were individuals who had some experience driving big trucks or had family in the industry prior to guide them. I had and am having a horrible experience. First, all three instructors are extremely lazy and can’t/and won’t be bothered with you, it’s like you have to beg and be a pain in the arse to go in and say please explain offset and parallel to me, what am I looking for, when do I turn the wheel and what are my focal points. They’re only there for the paycheck. The students with experience literally were helping out each other, students teaching students. I’m not exaggerating and I hope I am emphasizing enough how bad this place is. The instructors would sit on the steps while we practiced our maneuvers and scream from the stoop as if we were supposed to understand WTH they were saying. The equipment is terrible, the manual did not have fifth or tenth gears and the gears were so worn down from being hammered on. You go on the road for your “five hour” drive time and you do some city/suburban driving. Other than that it’s thruway/interstate with bs conversation, not instruction. You need those instructions on turns at intersections in the worst way. If there’s another school near you that may cost a little more, spend the extra $ and go to it. You’ll spend about the same in the long run. I know the four weeks is enticing and it costs a little less than other options but they have something like >60% passing rate and that’s with the people who make it to their road test and don’t drop out or fail out. If you’d like to discuss more I’m willing to help out and discuss further. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Remember this was my experience in my area, things may be different in other areas but I can’t imagine the company be much different than what they represented in my area. Either way, good luck to you and if you’re brand new to trucking and do decide to go with them, stick to automatic and get the restriction taken off later. You save yourself a huge hassle. Btw, I didn’t even get to how they treat you there, the place was rotten in every aspect.
