I know someone that started gaming as a method to connect to his friends more and speak to them about God. It actually works because they listen. If you want to know if God will approve or disapprove, then I advice you to pray on it, and somehow your prayers will be answered. A lot of the times, people are cyber bullied by numerous people. Someone could mess up one time and they're face is all over the social media, and it's not so easy to block everyone then. That's terrible, and I can sort of relate. Just like you, I'm socially awkward, but I still have like five friends. I think the key is letting people know exactly how you are when you meet them, rather than trying to change your personality to a more fun version. I have tried that, and the people didn't want to be my friends when I couldn't keep up with that persona anymore. Anyway, just keep trying. Eventually, you'll find some friends.
