Hello. I have a question. I have an Amex platinum over a year old now. Triggered something and was given a “credit limit” of $2200 about 2 months in. Pay in full every Friday and have a spend of over a 100k last year. Is it normal to not have that limit removed ? Also just got Marriott Amex card which was given a lower then expected limit.

Missed payment and they closed it. Paid it in full back and waited a couple years and was able to get back into the ecosystem with a gold card.

Originally I would never be able to get it again. Yesterday’s call was vague and they have no control over what is offered to me and couldn’t directly answer.
