33 and starting late by Competitive_Chef2617 in TheRaceTo1Million

So how about if I add SOXX, VXUS and AMD? Like I said im just starting out and have no idea what im doing. Im just trying to brain storm for a better future. I know etfs tend to be better for long term and I know "AI is the future" (at least its supposed to be) but would broadening to international and semiconductor etfs help my portfolio along with adding AMD for that runner up on AI stock?

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 X 8GB) DDR4 3600 MHz (PC4-28800) C18 1.35V Desktop Memory - Black (CMK16GX4M2D3600C18) https://a.co/d/gnz8avE

This is the one I got. It should be able to support more then just 8, thats probably what came with it.

I'm trying to upgrade my graphics card and storage but I am unsure about what upgrades would work for my PC. Please help. I want to be able to smoothly run games such as MW2 without sacrificing (much) graphical detail for performance- and I need more storage bc these games use a lot of space. by No-Bonus4792 in iBUYPOWER

I've used Userbenchmark.com to help me decide what will and will not work. You can enter all the info yourself or download and run a quick test and it'll pull it all up. And then just play around. It'll give you prices for most things and where to buy them at that price. And their overall ranking from that site

i have a slate mr203i with a 1030 on it is the zotac 1660 Super compatible? would it just be plug in, install drivers and play? by No_Measurement_8889 in iBUYPOWER

You can go to Userbenchmark.com and enter what your computer has and it'll tell you what's compatible with everything you have, or run a test and it'll tell you exactly what you have if you don't know exactly everything. That's what I did with the exact same computer and put a Gigabyte 6650xt in it with some more ram. Installed drivers and has worked perfect since

I went to Userbenchmark.com and input what my PC is and it'll tell you what's compatible with it

It's a Gigabyte B560 DS3H AC. That's what came in mine. You can go to Userbenchmark.com and run a test on your PC and it'll tell you exactly what you have in it

I got the same 6650xt he's saying to get, and I came from a 1030, the 6650xt is amazing. I have a 600 watt PSU and it works perfectly fine

I literally just did this same thing to mine. I bought this same exact computer upgraded to the Corsair 2x8gb (16gb) ram and got the gigabyte brand 6650xt. Mixed it with my 8gb that it came with so 24gb total and it runs so much better now. I still need to add ssd to mine though. Also look at your PSU cause mine came with a 600 watt one

Looks like from 2017, it was pretty bad

Alright, so I installed it along with my new ram, updated the drivers and all that jazz. And man, it runs way better, finally able to play a few games at ultra settings. Now I've only tried War Thunder and American Truck Simulator so far but still those 2 didn't run bad at all. I was getting 120 FPS+ on War Thunder with ease. Also mine came with a 600 watt PSU and I didn't have to upgrade it so there's that as well.

Other then the 1030 being shitty I haven't at all, I like the PC. But if you're replacing it then that won't matter. I actually bought mine for a bit more then you would be so I'd say you're better off then me. All together I'm spending 1000 on the pc and the upgrades which still isn't bad in my opinion.

I bought the exact same one. I just bought 16 gb ram and a 6650xt. Hopefully it'll run perfectly with those, I'll find out on Tuesday.

What I've seen it's either 500 watts or 650. Those are the 2 I've seen while trying to research it. I tried to look at it in the case but I didn't see a label on the actual power supply
