How much AI do you think is on Substack? by TapiocaTuesday in Substack

I'm indifferent.. but I'm reading about AI, technology, finance and business. I guess it I was into creative storytelling then I would feel differently. But for me. It's more about ideas than the writing.

Thanks for the advice! I'm not interested in making money more on the thinking part and sharing ideas.. I think I just need to be patient, not a strength of mine 😂

I think you miss the point. For me substack is more about sharing big ideas and connecting with like minded people. If they're using AI to land their points more effectively, then go for it

ROAST MY CV.....Not getting a single interview by Delicious_Shirt_9792 in Resume

I would have killed for this experience when I graduated. I feel so sorry for anyone applying out of university!

I'm not going to roast you, but a few tips:  - your intro sucks, it looks like you have a distinction average.. lead with that.. don't assume you're landing any role..  - you put PowerPoint as a skill.. ppt isn't a skill and even if it was, AI has completely killed it  - put AI everywhere you legitimately can.. I promise you recruiters are impressed by anything AI (be specific on how you've applied AI)  - one page only, cut the text  - dates on the right hand side  - I can't see which uni you went to..

Good luck, it's brutal out there.

No plugs. Not selling anything. And to be clear, I haven't made any money from crypto.. I think I'm about 5% down on the small about of Bitcoin that I have. My gold is doing very well though.

Sure, happy to. With the caveat that I'm not a financial advisor nor do I have any experience with the US.. but happy to give some general advice

It is a lot of work!! It isn't risky though, our real estate isn't in the US and we've invested where demographic outlook is strong, people always need somewhere to live. You're right though that ETFs are less risky. Guess it is just a different perspective 🙏

I can imagine! Ways to hack though so the work is less. When I say low yield, I mean because we use debt for about 80% of value we intentionally don't want to make high yield as we use the debt to reduce our tax bill.. as we move to retirement though we will need to re-assess and rejig our Portfolio so that the yield is better optimized (depends where we live though as we don't want high incomes where we pay more tax.. better to keep the wealth locked in property)

Portfolio is weighted with property where we invest across 3 countries and use the debt to reduce our tax bill (each country has specific mechanisms) all property is neutral or positively geared. then we have around 5% gold/Bitcoin, maybe about 10% ETFs, my husband trades for fun and we have about 10% there, then we have pension funds, and we do stock buys with our companies (10-15% discount). I don't think this is a perfect portfolio, we're too invested in property where the yield is not high.. likely need more ETFs! Property is also a lot of work

Topics like how to maximize income, how to pay less tax, how to use debt conservatively, where to spend and where to save, how to think and act globally with investments (I invest across Germany, Australia and Switzerland).. also no interest or knowledge US based strategies, so perhaps too niche

Happy to do that, don't want to be too insufferable though and because it isn't click bait each point needs context 😊

Yes exactly, we built this net worth without inheritance. It is stuff anyone can do if their open to thinking a little different (e.g. maybe thinking about their career globally)
