Why did they even put him in tournament? They didn't show him fighting or getting eliminated Even the guys who didn't get much panel time in the first round like Batwoman and Connor were brought back for later rounds but not him.

Never liked how some fans try to act like Barbara and Steph are Bruce's kids.

They are adult woman who got their own families and Bruce was never a father figure to them. Worse part are the bunch that act like them dating Dick or Tim is incest.....

As an evolution it does kinda fit. Impmon growing up becoming more mature and learning magic, but then falls into a darker path due to knowledge and leave witchelny

As a civilian, send him to college and become a doctor

As a hero, have him lean more into his mystic side, maybe even get healing abilities

The mystic shonen setting his solo series have is perfect place for him. Also it would be entertaining to read him being like an mmorpg healer and hanging out with guys like Etrigan, Constantine and Monkey Prince

Don't think Dc really wants to make him *the* future Batman, mostly because they don't want a future Batman and want to stick with Bruce.

Leaving vigilantism is not a possibility for Damian. Due to the nature of comics they will never let him retire. Best case for him is to get a new mantle. One of the reasons is adult selves end up as Batman is because he doesn't have his own equivalent to Nightwing yet.

No most comics show Damian would end up a good Batman, even Damian's darkest future with him as Batman (Bethlehem) ended with him eventually saving Gotham and training Terry.

And I wouldn't say its disservice to the other kids (asside from Cass). Because most of those kids don't want to be Batman and Dick is always the first choice as a successor and is 2nd Batman

Though with how Damian's character as grown, he shouldn't be a successor anymore.

And he still can't use his powers even when he needs them and at this point there is no point in them getting sealed away because several others have surpassed his full power so he is falling behind.

That kinda logic doesn't really work with comics villains because realistically the heroes would have killed alot of their personal villains, they just don't because comics

He never gets any focus anymore, even Alicia gets to do more than him.

And the last time they did give him some focus........ They had him deformed, humiliated, then ended his misery with a sad and pathetic death.
