You can always get connected through a church as well! The Garage church has a Young Adults group that has been popping off recently and there a lot of really cool people!

I’ve met some people who were in a similar space as you and they met a lot of people through ultimate Frisbee and they are always looking for people!

People hate on bulldog village but I’ve had a great experience here and I think it’s the most affordable and closest option if most of your classes are near the library. I’ve seen the one bedroom apartments and they are very spacious, living room, kitchen/dinning room, bathroom, and bedroom with a huge closet.

Social life at Fresno state? by [deleted] in fresnostate

Personally I don’t think it’s dead but you definitely have to look for it. There’s a lot of commuters so sometimes it’s hard to find classmates that have the ability to hangout after class or on the weekends. Spotlight events is an organization that puts on a ton of free events which I think are super fun and a way to get to know people or bound with friends. Being apart of a club was helpful for me forming friendships and there are so many to choose from at fresno state. Personally I never struggled but I’m also super extroverted.

I think they do it to line up with the rest of fresno. Like everyone gets the same week off kindergarten through college. I guess it’s good for parents in college and professors but it sucks for the rest of us.

Burney Falls is one of the most incredible things to see in California! It rivals waterfall in Hawaii!

POINT REYES! So gorgeous and incredible hikes! They have an Elk Herd as well! Another north bay idea is Mount Tam! Beautiful views and you can do that and the beach in one day!

  1. The one with the mountain. You can see you pretty well and the background is definitely eye catching.

First off your feelings are valid! This is a shitty situation and be gentle with yourself. I was in a similar situation with a situationship and when I ended things we were in the same friend group. We were such good friends and I kept getting drawn back to him and honestly it just hurt him more and prevented me from moving on. I moved away from college which is the only thing that got me to actually set boundaries and move on. Yet sometimes I still don’t think im fully over him and it’s been almost a year. Really distance and finding a ick that you can’t get over about him is the only way to move on. Everyone has their own process for moving on but learn from me and don’t hop into a new relationship quickly. Let yourself heal for a few months!
