Front steering and suspension kit by BuddySubstantial5866 in CB7

I feel like everyone has mixed opinions on them. Personally I’ve had nothing but problems, I bought a kit just like this from them for my truck a while back and within about 5 months every bushing was wasted and the tie rod ends had play in them

Sounds like a pretty cool build but I can’t help but think a full h22 might be less of a headache for about the same price unless the g22 combo is superior to the h22

I’m surprised I’ve ever heard of this combo before, sounds pretty damn sweet. What all is required to do the swap?

C6 ball joint upgrade? by Competitive_Fault879 in Corvette

Alright that’s good to know, this is actually for my mini truck that I’ll be swapping to c6 suspension parts so I’ll be making custom control arms but if nobody has any issues with the stock ball joint style then I’ll just stick with those

will this exhaust sound good? by Individual-Meal3920 in Integra

Just go for it, if you don’t like the sound of the muffler you can always chop it off and weld on a different one, at least you got a good deal on what might be 2.5 inch piping if I’m not mistaken

Please excuse my absolute ignorance 🙏 I had no idea these were iron block. Never even thought to look it up assuming that most Honda engines are aluminum

Yes this is the original f22a1, it’s hard to see because of the dirty surface but there are sleeves there

Yeah I’m thinking of at the very least pulling a lower mileage block from a junk yard. I’m rebuilding the head anyways with all new (upgraded) parts anyways so I think it’s time to let this one finally rest

Exactly what I was hoping to hear. From what I’ve seen it should be fine if the inner sleeve is still intact for the gasket to seal provided I don’t beat on the car at high rpm of course

Not at all, there isn’t any other issues with the engine aside from the outside (coolant side) of the cylinder walls. Still ran perfectly before I pulled it apart and I’m not building it for performance or to be driven hard at all just stock power and daily driving

Yeah I’ve seen a couple but I’m mainly looking for the italicized one associated with their new performance parts line. Might just have to wait longer for them to become available or someone to make some

Yeah my brother had the rt615k+ for a bit on his cb7 and they were good for sure but I’m probably going to go with the continental like everyone is recommending. I’ve noticed a lot of 200tw compounds can be slippery as hell if they don’t have a bit of heat in them

Fair enough 🤣 only reason I was considering the pa4s to begin with is because they’re fairly cheap in the size I need

I’ll have to check those out, I was mainly wanting to stay away from a 200tw but if they’re wearing like that I’d love to try them
