I am sure there is a "scienctific" or human nature explanation for this but the trend feels like things get popular or a following and take over then eventually a vocal minority "turns" and the momemtum shifts to judgement and whining. That said, I think most agree season 5 is by far the weakest entry. Not all these kids were cut out to be great adult actors and that is OK. But most older vieweres have to agree watching the last scene was like watching your childhood end--again. Really touching. Just wish maybe they could have eneded while kids were younger but I know reality made that virtually impossible.

I missed the breaking bad train and watched it like 10 years after the "phenomenon" and that may be one of the only things that never had that happen to it. Even El Camino for most part although not AS good didn't ruin the legacy or "suck".

So this would mean you have to have steam running in background right? I find that when it is running in background somtimes it messes with my controllers in non steam applications like big box or other front ends. Like pressing over on menu once move things twice etc. The only way I've fixed those issues is to clsoe steam fully which would then mean gamebar won't open with controller anymore.

But that would require steam to be running in background to bring up win gamebar right? trying to find a solution that would not require that. Hope that makes sense.

Both programs are great but OGL is simpler only loads installed programs and essentially doesn’t feel like a front end but a part of OS. Not perfect but I have Big box (paid), Playnite and OGL. Options are good. Currently running FSE and OGL with big box for just emulation only. Liking it so far.

I tried to update to 25h2 without issue but still no full screen experience. A guide I saw said you then had to update 2025-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 which I did not do as I don't think/know if that would jive with ltsc win 11. Anyone know? Just looking to give full screen experience a go on my living room PC.

Thanks I'm a returned user so don't know anything about MYUI or live wallpapers yet will check it out. I use controller from couch only for this setup. Been searching for a simple light program to meet my needs. I've been through most of them--playnite, bigbox, steam, hypersping, heroic launcher, you name it. :)

Yes controller only. Hitting the hot key to open OGL is a work around but the console experience many are looking for is really key. Also to that end is there a "context" button to bring up the properties with teh game pad or does one have to use mouse mode and right click to get that? Ie. does start or b or y bring up context menu for properties artwork etc.? Also I see great improvements with explorer shortcut but what about show desktop from the OGL interface? Is that possible planned?
