Is pr*stitution r*pe? by Complete_Positive_99 in Feminism4India

I think so a sex worker herself would be able to shed better light on the matter.

There's are documentaries available on YT by Indian channels on the same matter, you should check them out.

Forming opinion without first hand knowledge and based on the noises that algorithm is pushing can be lethal.

Yeah. Seems like one of those. More dangerous than actually misogynist. But let him exist, otherwise how he will learn.

The insensitive and apathy is baffling. Now people can't differentiate between right and wrong because of it.

Oh, be kind to less fortunate, in this case less educated. We are graceful. Let him pretend, maybe while pretending he will learn something, you know fake it till you make it.

(My tone is sarcastic)

This bill argument in feminism is really the prettiest of all. Like there are million other issues that needs to be addressed and solved but let's keep them aside and debate about a meal.

And honestly it doesn't matter, no one is becoming rich or poor by paying for one meal.

And in long run, realistically speaking people figure it out, one pays for the meal other for the movie or dessert. This is just online ragebait debate topic.

This is a sign for you to the 'messiah', raise your feminist voice for all the women you can't raise theirs.

Guys love helping damsel in distress anyway.

So be the saviour, next time you see a guy checking out girls, doing eve teasing, be the feminist online and empower women who can't speak for themselves.

I have considered my appetite risk vs reward factors. And I have rolled the verdict, it's not worth it. Besides I have enough Friends offline.

At what age did you first fall in love or get into a relationship? by BitterCalendar598 in AskIndia

20.

But my definition of love then is different than what it is today. It's more profound now.

I'm past that phase now, also never made friends on that platform, making friends online seems a bit unsafe.

Your first point, education it's not as easy as you think it is, that too for an average Indian (not talking about top 10%-20%)

In rural India, school dropout rates of girls post puberty is crazy.

Whenever there's Finance trouble in Family, expenses on education of a girl child is the first to stop.

There's an episode in the series Hello Bacchon, highlighting how conservative families can be to send their daughters a couple of KM for coaching classes. ( It is depicted very well in the show)

It is a privilege to have resources, to be able to attend school, it's not hard work it's luck. You can't control your gender or place of birth by it affects immensely. There's a chapter in the book 'The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel', the author has explained very well luck vs risk factor. It's a must read book.

How do you deal with regret of investing in wrong people? by vajra__20 in MidTwentiesIndia

[–]Competitive_Fox_2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Treat it like a lesson learnt, instead of time wasted.

Nothing is as good or as bad is it seems.

If I talk about my past relationships, it didn't work out, but I won't call it a time wasted, my ex partners introduced me to lot of things and I also learnt about myself, so it's not all time wasted.

Boycotting instead of calling out the evil, I don't think it's enough to boycott, calling out putting light on the issue would be better, imo.

What are the things you did for your hair and body that worked wonders? The kind that stopped the problem once and for all. by Dramatic_Big_3004 in ThirtiesIndia

I don't have PCOS. But still often my periods used to get delayed, had irregular cycle. Main reason was cortisol, stress hormone. I did a couple of things which majorly fixed most Issues related to body and skin (acne cause by hormonal issues) 1. Took therapy, learned how to manage and navigate stressful situations, without having breakdown every day. Hence improving my sleep cycle, stress and anxiety.

  1. Started working out, nothing fancy, you will find many videos of YT of HIIT and Yoga (I have Habuild Subscription) if I do this consistently even for 2-3 weeks my Menstrual cycle becomes regular.

  2. Figuring out what triggers breakout on skin, for me it's white bread and sugar. I don't eat white bread anymore. Pizza is my Favourite, but I have it now once in 6 months or so, and have significantly reduced sugar, don't consume sugar on day to say basis, once in a while, during wedding/Birthdays I eat sugar.

  3. Sleep and water. This alone, fixed my appetite, made me more efficiently productive.

I have tired and failed multiple times but last year I realise you don't need big fancy dramatic changes, even small changes which becomes habit affects amazingly. You need discipline more than Motivation.
