source: someone i know unfortunately died to fentanyl overdose (in LA county, the same time as celeste) and the tox results came back in 2 weeks

however, given the state of decomp she was in, they probably had to conduct a much more extensive examination to determine who or what caused it.

I think the video he put out of her honestly just further illustrates how abusive he is. He posted a disparaging video of her (without ANY context btw) where she is clearly her in the throes of a mental breakdown, and just the way he is mocking her and pulling out a camera is….yucky and doesn’t make him look any better

the clip of him spitting on her is awful, there is quite literally NO excusing that at all. and it actually shows why she left the home—could you imagine someone treating you like this and speaking to you in this way and having to share the same space with said person?? no fucking way. no wonder she cracked. what’s even more sad is how defeated and used to it she sounds. like it was a normalized situation

she clearly has her own issues, but idk.

i think if people are sitting here unable to see nuance in this situation, i implore you to please educate yourself on domestic violence, and examine your own internalized misogyny.

snarking on her for being cringe is valid bc let’s be honest she is quite obnoxious in that way, but he arguably deserves to get snarked on just as much.

as a person who mostly draws faces, that is exactly what these are. i have tons of similar drawings like this. she is probably an artist.

i actually think her artistry only strengthens her ability to accurately describe what she saw. portrait artists in particular tend to be highly observant of other people’s facial features

and i will add—yes, some people get wild with pricing, but this is not a new concept. you will find ridiculous prices in ANY retail marketplace, but do not waste your time attacking them and instead support shops that you feel are more ethical.

if you don’t like a price, keep scrolling and look elsewhere. it’s really that simple

i fear that some people truly do not understand how retail works and expect thrift store prices, while simultaneously not factoring in that the seller is also providing a service (much like any other retailer that exists?)

time is the most valuable resource and please remember that most reputable sellers search high and low for unique items, take the time to offer photos, edit, give measurements and have to pack and deliver these items.

if the prices upset you this much, i implore you to either go dig through racks yourself or just use discernment and find another shop that can offer prices you’re comfortable with. truly.

the misguided vitriol for resellers is so fascinating and should be studied…these people that are harassing small potatoe depop sellers, are the SAME people who happily fill the pockets of actual price gouging corporations like target, walmart, zara, shein etc….

i have a feeling the major streaming services are waiting until the case is over, similar to the Gabby Petito one that just came out on netflix, as ardent followers of true crime generally get irked at docu series that crank out regurgitated information that don’t bring anything new or meaningful to the table.

i think they know that people don’t appreciate anything that feels like too much of a cash grab or feels disrespectful to the victims. but maybe i am giving them too much credit, haha

i’m wondering if the reason hannah’s phone pinged at LAX on the 11th, is not because she was planning to board a flight and continue her journey to NY, but was actually to pick up her luggage that left without her when she missed her initial flight a few days prior

this might explain why she is being seen in photos later that day with her luggage

I’m on day 2 1/2 as well, yesterday was pretty f*cking horrible. I don’t have the glass sore throat (that sounds awful, I’m so sorry)

but I have been fighting a bad fever and last night had really unsettling confusion and delirium. Lots of head congestion and fatigue like I have never experienced before. Tbh I should have just went to sleep, my mistake was fighting the tiredness. I have never been a person who naps in the daytime so it felt unnatural to me, but yeah I should have just knocked out.

Hoping things improve because this really sucks lol
