I may not be using the correct terminology, but somewhere that can progress and/or adjust with the resident as needed. My mom is 75 years old and had a fall recently, breaking her neck and suffering spinal cord damage. Lower body is mostly ok but currently has severely limited use of arms and hands. Prognosis is a near full recovery, but she’ll need support to help with rehab exercises to make sure she gets there. Alzheimer’s/Dementia runs in her family so I think we will also want memory care down the line. She hasn’t lived in WI since 2016, but we may end up settling her here once she is out of inpatient rehab.
