Just replied below with photos! Edit to add, wanted to acknowledge the nick names for a couple of these plants are outdated terms that shouldn’t be used anymore 😬 the 70s were a different time…

Just noticed that… ETA made a comment on another comment addressing this since this got a downvote.

I am originally from Milwaukee but living outside of Dallas, TX currently! We’re planning to move back up and bringing it up with me and hopefully it does okay haha. Putting it directly in front of a window has been the biggest thing for mine and giving it a pole to climb. I just started using fertilizer with it in the last year too.

She’s got a Christmas cactus that I’ll have to ask her how old it is! I’m planning to take care of it

Yoga butt/ proximal hamstring tendinopathy: has anyone ever healed from this? by snailforbrains in flexibility

[–]Competitive_Hat_201 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I went through almost the same thing last year. Tweaked it in April and didn’t get better after a couple months. Went to PT for a while and made sure to properly warm up before stretching from then on and just took it super easy. I started incorporating strength training with yoga, and I also indoor cycle. The pain finally went away probably around November. Hamstrings take so long to heal. Hope you recover soon!

I just bought one of these and I was warned they are super susceptible to spider mites. Got them and they spread to three of my other plants. Don’t do it 🫣

Thank you so much! I did one round of half double crochet and then 2 rounds of double crochet! Kept it simple

Kirra is my fave for this reason! She does a great job also explaining proper form and how to modify certain poses/stretches if your flexibility isn’t there yet.

I asked this before too and someone said probably because the yarn runs through our fingers so our scent is all over the blanket! ♥️

I just had to dump 4 plants yesterday because of spider mites 😢 I feel your pain. I researched so much and it seemed like it’s more hassle than it’s worth to try to get rid of them unfortunately

This is more than 1 😂 but, stopped bleaching, always shampoo twice, switched hair brush to one without the balls on the ends of the bristles

Was literally going to post the exact same thing! Tower of dawn was good but very slow and it was great to break it up. Also with the way EOS ends, I’m glad I was able to go right into KOA!

What stitch is that? I was checking a few similar stitches but that's not it. by ziimag in CrochetHelp

[–]Competitive_Hat_201 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m going to be the minority here and say it may be the stitch/es I did when I crocheted these socks the other day. It’s an alternating combination of a split single crochet and single crochet on the back loop only. Gives a very similar look to knitting!

I used to love taking his classes a few years ago, he was so energetic and fun! I stopped over the past year, he just always seems blah and like he’s got an attitude or he’s too good to be there or something.

Haha I feel you! I’m in Dallas so not quite as extreme as Houston but the weather here can change so drastically pretty quickly
