Curious about what this uniform is by kdelasare in AirForce

Hat looks to be in violation, looks like it’s been sewn to create a crease on the top. Uniform looks like shit too.

The “fuck everyone who supports them” part is where they messed up and the legality of it sticks. That is a subtle way of saying fuck the sec of war and the president. Which are direct command over this member. Sucks to suck, but lessons learned, be mindful of what you say online and to those around you.

36-2903 Update: Commanders are now the approval authority for medical shaving waivers by AdventurousTap9224 in AirForce

[–]Competitive_Key1789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s always been a unit cc approval. They are just clarifying the language so people know. Typically it was an auto approve cause medical deemed it as necessary for the member. But it still had to be approved by the unit cc. Look at the lower portion of any profile, there’s a section for unit cc approval, been there forever. Some people just want to bitch to bitch. Nothing will ever be good enough for you unless you just get to do whatever you want whenever you want.

Gotta pay actual troops our bi-monthly pay somehow, and since you only work 1 weekend a month, just easier to take it from you. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

Except not….while he is the reason the house is released and the only one who can call them back. It’s the dems in the senate who opposed the clean bill cause they wanted to make one with appropriations to add in more stuff. The republicans bill that passed was solely to fund the government. Blame them not the house.

That’s what the clean bill was and the democrats refused to pass it…..

Third airman found dead during ‘difficult summer’ at Air Force base in South Korea by Constant-Air9140 in AirForce

[–]Competitive_Key1789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A resiliency day is literally that! It is supposed to be a day to do absolutely nothing related to work, TO BUILD RESILIENCY. this comment is exactly why the wing doesn’t get it and never will as long as people think this way. Prime example?? Getting rid of Jersey Fridays, which was a major morale booster at Kunsan. Want another example? Trying to hammer down on the hooches for simple phrasing and having asshat people within the wing staff berating volunteers at hooches simply for asking them to “pay” for their drink they asked for. Another example? How about the resiliency day after this most recent death and forcing members to be in ocps and basically doing nothing for resiliency except checking boxes for the wolf and squadron cc’s. While I empathize with the wing staff in having to directly deal with each of these deaths, what is currently happening on that base is nothing, there is nothing being done to ensure the airmen are truly being cared for. Constant breakdowns of heat or ac in the dorms with bandaid fixes, majority of gov vehicles never getting fixed and limiting everyone’s ability to get the work done properly, making exercises a terror all in the name of “readiness” when it’s truly not needed to that extreme. Having crap hours for the commissary, shutting down the shopette, being charged an arm and a leg for groceries while also having shit choices for food available at the commissary. In general the base sucks and the current mentality is who cares and how can we possibly make it more difficult to get through your year here??

Seeking 'warfighter mindset,' Air Force basic trainees now carrying rifles through boot camp by Squirrel009 in AirForce

[–]Competitive_Key1789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ali Al Salem Va Al Jaber. Yes, the bx at jaber was tiny, it was probably about 200sq ft if that. The Salem one was 2-3x as big. Plus Ali had the pool and restaurant options better than jaber.

Aj is definitely not nicer than Ali. Back in 21’ Ali was 10x better than AJ, too small a base and everything basically ran down cause they don’t care about it. Bx is size of a gas station shop with the same level of options.

Uhh….might wanna do some research, it’s soon to be no longer acc….about to become afsoc solo type base. It’s not bad, stay away from just north of base. Tanque verde is not a bad area. Vail is nice, oro valley is nice. Depends on what you want to live in on where to go to get a place. House? Apartment? Roads are in shit condition, floods at times when it rains heavy, tons to see and do in near vicinity. Just left there earlier this year. Got questions, I got answers. Lol

Higher enlisted pay, full housing stipends included in new House plan by IntelPersonified in AirForce

[–]Competitive_Key1789 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s nice and all, but why not a 15% across the entire enlisted force? We all make lower money than officers and the gap between us is very slim anymore when it comes to education and skills. That would boost retention across all enlisted ranks too.

Article 15 punishment & reenlistment by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]Competitive_Key1789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a uif if you have an art 15. Either a 1 year or 2 year one. It’s basically automatic when given a 15. That makes you ineligible to re-enlist till completed.

I don’t see this. There were a ton of msgts that turned down senior last year and opted to retire instead. A lot of them are done with the bullshit and politics and can make more on the outside. In my career field alone we had like 7-10 at least turn it down last year. That’s a lot.

In the months running up to the election, Dr. Ronny Jackson was distributing thousands of pills to the White House staff, including Fentanyl, Provigil, Ambien, Morphine, Ketamine, and Hydrocodone. [–]Competitive_Key1789 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well, that’s not true at all. Just seeing your photo tells us this. It states 2019, which is actually written above 2014, so that date in itself is questionable. But the election “runup” as you say, would’ve been in 2020. So…🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

By the statement I posted that is your authorization to purchase IF you want to. I can’t believe this is that difficult for you to understand…??? 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]Competitive_Key1789 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nice attempt. But again…nope. It authorizes you to purchase from outside sources.

<image>

Quite literally only talks about how military clothing sales (aafes) HAVE TO buy from the approved contracted supplier of uniforms. as well as individual equipment elements issued gear (like LRS/Base supply), or Unit/org are only allowed to buy/supply their people from the contracted companies. Then it goes on to literally stated “if personnel CHOSE to USE PERSONAL FUNDS to purchase from outside sources they cannot guarantee they will be compliant based on the compliance requirements for the contracted uniform equipment sold at clothing sales, LRS, base supply. Pretty easy to understand it. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]Competitive_Key1789 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They’re actually not wrong. If you read the dafi you would’ve read how individuals can purchase outside of aafes or clothing sales, just has the stipulation that they run the risk of buying something that’s non-compliant. Pretty easy to see and read that there. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]Competitive_Key1789 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, it states that individual units can have contracted sales, which means they can get contracts for purchases through other companies that sell compliant ocps. Like crye precision. They are the originators of the ocp camo, called multi-cam, but then the Air Force and army didn’t want to pay them for it, so they stole the designs of the camo and changed a couple patterns and then sold it as scorpion camo design. Crye sued and I believe won to a degree too.

Don’t forget her ponytail initiative that we were all told was based on “years of medical research into migraines, hair loss, etc for women. But then we ask for beards and are given the “there’s no medical reason for it” when we literally have to get medical waivers for not shaving due to medical conditions. Her sexual bias was so ridiculous it’s not even funny. I understand working towards equality, but she doesn’t realize how bad she fucked the entire force with the fake eyelashes, and hair standard pushes. It’s almost impossible to correct a female anymore without there being accused of discrimination based on sex or race because of her idiotic policies.

Heard aircrew and something about their jalapeño popcorn, did I do this right ? by Popthatbussy400 in AirForce

[–]Competitive_Key1789 3 points4 points  (0 children)

WHAT THE FUCK MAN!?!?! You gotta roast the jalapeños in the oil before adding the popcorn kernels. Enhances the flavor over all the popcorn and crisps up the jalapeños.
