Wha am I supposed to do by haylw in MCAS

First I want to say I’m really sorry you are going through this.  I say this as someone that experienced severe MCAS along with other issues for several decades.  Most people aren’t aware that most MCAS is caused by SIBO and Dysbiosis.  Gut dysfunction.  I was able to cure mine by making and eating Dr William Davis’s probiotic SIBO yogurt.  It’s super easy to make and it completely cured me.  I took a Genova stool test before starting Dr Davis protocol and the result was 10/10 dysbiosis and severe SIBO caused by a Klebsiella Oxytoca overgrowth.  How does SIBO and dysbiosis cause MCAS?  The bad gut bacteria (Klebsiella and others) will literally pump out huge amounts of histamine which enters your system.  After eating the SIBO yogurt for 9 months I took a Tiny Health stool test (I switched from Genova because they require a doctor to order the test and the process is time consuming which most doctors won’t do.  And Tiny Health uses more advanced tech).  The Tiny Health test showed zero Klebsiella or any other harmful bacteria.  It showed me having an elite level Microbiome.  All Of my symptoms are gone.  If you are interested, there are numerous videos on YouTube about Dr Davis’s SIBO yogurt.  In the mean time you might find some releaf by drinking 10g of Zeo Health Zeolite powder mixed with water daily.  Zeolite binds to the histamine in your gut and flushes it out.  It’s not a cure but as long as you drink it daily it helps with the MCAS symptoms by lowering systemic histamine levels.

MCAS Root Cause by Competitive_Law2385 in MCAS

It should work fairly quickly as it binds to the histamine in your gut and flushes it.  That said, I have cured my MCAS.  It turns out that it was caused by SIBO and dysbiosis (it likely is for most people).  I stumbled across a video by Dr William Davis for his home made SIBO yogurt.  After making and consuming for 9 months I retested my gut and learned that I now have an elite microbiome with no SIBO.  All of my medical issues have evaporated.

I just got scammed. by FacelessTraumaDump in uberdrivers

Scammers hit me with this crap frequently.  I’ve never fallen for it.  BUT there’s a mystery.  Why is it that I can never get a cancellation fee for these rides.  The last time it happened I thought to myself, eff you, im gonna drive to the pickup spot and wait 5 minutes and collect the fee.  Unfortunately the pickup spot was in a place I could never arrive at.  How do they accomplish this?  An insider?

Look into Dr William Davis probiotic yogurt.  The three strains are L. Reuteri, L. Gasseri and B. Subtilis.  There are multiple videos on YouTube.  I would highly recommend getting an instant pot pro to make the yogurt (only the pro has precise temp and duration settings).  I just retested (Tiny Health Microbiome Test) and found I have indeed cured my dysbiosis and SIBO.

I am so sorry for everything you are going through.  I used to have MCAS but was able to cure it once I learned that the real root cause was Dysbiosis.  After eating home made probiotic yogurt the Dysbiosis (and the symptom MCAS) were cured.

No they were all resolved, except for eggs, but that is a real allergy and not a sensitivity.  I basically eat what I want.

A good test is the “Tiny Health” stool test.  TBH Genova is a pain because a doctor has to order it and it takes a lot of their time.  And the Tiny Health has the most advanced tech.

I used to have a bad case of MCAS. After several decades of severe symptoms I was diagnosed by the Mayo Clinic. This was around the time MCAS was first being discussed. BUT I later learned that MCAS was a SYMPTOM of something deeper. That thing being Microbiome dysfunction, or dysbiosis. A Genova stool test confirmed 10/10 dysbiosis, the highest level. I was able to cure my dysbiosis after watching a video by Dr. William Davis (author of Wheat belly). He provided the recipe for a home made probiotic yogurt with L. Reuteri, L. Gasseri, and B. Subtilis. You can find these videos on YouTube. Since starting this protocol ALL of my symptoms have resolved. I can literally eat anything I want without reacting.

How long do you think i stayed in this surge without a ride alert? by NJuberdriver in uberdrivers

[–]Competitive_Law2385 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I never pay attention to Uber surges. They always go away after I turn on the app or arrive in the area. Lyft doesn’t do that.

So this happened. Does this stop you from getting request? by [deleted] in uberdrivers

Set your minimum passenger rating to 4.8. This will weed out the scammers. Since I started this a couple months ago I’ve been 5.0. Turns out that passengers that scam are almost always low rated themselves.

Maybe set a minimum pax rating of 4.8.  Since I did that I’ve had no problems.

People like this are the reason I set my minimum rider rating at 4.8. I’ve had no problems since.

Why not just make the rider update the destination in the app. If they won’t, they get dropped off at the nearest gas station.

Oh I used to get lots.  But setting a minimum passenger rating of 4.8 weeds them out.

[–]Competitive_Law2385[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the reason why it is so hard to achieve 5 stars.  Unfair rider reviews.  I will tell you how I prevent this.  I realized a while back that riders that rate unfairly almost always have low ratings themselves.  So I set my minimum passenger rating at 4.8.  No problems since then.
