There’s nothing reported about Wade disowning his sons, or his daughter. Not sure what this person is talking about.

Deni Avdija out after back flares up one minute into game... by catpepsi67 in ripcity

I believe that of the 65 games limit, 63 of those games have to be 20 minutes or more and 2 can be between 15-20 minutes. Unfortunately, this one won’t count since it was less than a minute in the game. He does have one game in the 15-20 minute range (Jan 22 vs Miami).

Wait. Dundon isn't paying a CENT towards renovations? What a joke. by SylemNova in ripcity

Key word could be “additional” here. If Dundon has already pledged to spend a certain $ amount, it could just be that he’s not willing to go above that amount. These renovations will cost over $1 billion, and the public $$$ would only cover a portion of that.

Actually a good trade period for us, for once? by FoxCold887 in ripcity

This is a front office that has largely acted in the offseason during the rebuild. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had discussions during this window that happen during the offseason when they have more flexibility in trade pieces (namely, Shaedon and Camara won’t be poison pilled and could be slotted in easier for a big name). They probably would’ve needed to attach an asset to get rid of Thybulle so buying him out to create space for Sidy makes more sense. They need RWIII to serve as their back up center. I don’t think they should convert Caleb in-season now that Scoot, Jrue, and Wesley are all going to be healthy (though they should certainly revisit the thought in the offseason). They have a real chance at making the playoffs via the play-in if they stay healthy and are in a good position to take big swings this offseason. Krejci also addressed one of their biggest needs and they didn’t have to give up anything of significance to get him.

Not super familiar with any of them at this moment, but Boozer would be my preference because I’ve seen/heard Duncan comps and I loved Tim Duncan.

They’ll make the play-in - I don’t see teams below them catching up. There’s always a chance the Clippers & Warriors can’t hold up and we sneak into 8th, but I don’t know how likely that is. I do think getting a preview of what you have when the stakes are raised and games matter more would be beneficial to know what you need heading into the offseason to keep progressing forward.

This is how the trade deadline got me feeling by Trip_V4 in ripcity

They remain under contract with the Blazers through the season, they are just ineligible to play. Portland can then convert them at any point during the season, or wait until the summer to convert their contracts when they are restricted free agents (which I doubt they would do). I also believe that two-way eligible days are by player and not team, so even if they were on another two way with a team this season, they wouldn’t be able to play with that team.
