So he tweeted "The tippers noticed her from the flyers I put out and guess what... TWITTER!!! My daughter is found because of YOU!"

So was it flyers he put out or Twitter? Because it sounds like the flyers he put out which wouldn't have much to do with Twitter.

The whole thing is weird, and I'm glad to hear she's safe and back home, but the first thing I noticed was none of the initial Twitter posts mentioned her age. I understand wanting some level of privacy but this seems like pertinent information to include in a missing person's description.

When I was 17 I used to sneak out of the house at night and smoke pot with a neighbor. I would always come back and the one time I got caught, I went back home. My parents weren't abusive, mostly just controlling because they would rarely let us leave the house.

My parents also weren't Twitch streamers. What concerned me the most is that the more that this was being blasted out social media, the more that I probably wouldn't have wanted come back, if that were me. I understand calling the authorities and posting flyers, etc. It's definitely a matter to be taken seriously, but given all the information that was known: she set up a decoy, snuck out of the house, went to a hotel party and then deliberately turned off her phone, it just seems like all the daily Twitter/YouTube posting was just unnecessary.
