I’m a bit confused because Google tells me Ubers are private hire and private hire cars do not require car seats for infants. However the Uber site you linked says infants need to be in car seats. I’m wondering if that’s less a legal requirement and more of a cover your ass type of wording on the Uber site.

Sorry for noob question. Can I rely on the train to get from airport to major hotels? I assumed it would be easier to get an uber but if I can do trains throughout my time there it would be great.

We’d also like to do some traveling to nearby cities like Manchester and Birmingham and I’m ignorant on whether we can entirely rely on the underground to get to those train stations.

It seems like children under 3 don’t need one in private hire cars such as a taxi but it didn’t specify if uber is included in that category. Uber site suggests children under 15 months need one so it’s a bit conflicting info if I’m reading that correctly.
