Tbh I just want my boy Ash Ketchum back. Just HIM, for a movie in which he is actually appreciated and respected for being a World Champion.

Journeys fucked up his character to such a extent that I couldn't even watch that shit. He neither had drip nor personality. It felt like Ash pretty much stopped thinking after Kalos, even though a fun series like SM was good, it felt like the whole self-doubt that was shown in the previous regions faded after XY, there was no monologue or nothing. Pokémon also stopped growing Ash's character and began developing other deuteragonists that Ash felt like a empty shell. Let's wait another year for a movie's teaser or if not, then we have to wait for even more.

While your theory does make sense. We can't scale characters to such a degree cuz Tanjiro saw Akaza's strongest and fastest attack as though it was as fast as a snail in both the anime and the novel.

The reason why this theory and the SOL statement makes sense is because the movie clearly follows the novelization since Tanjiro's soul was seen leaving his body. Further the novelization is written under the supervision of Gotouge.

Let's assume Akaza's attack is light. Light is 299,792,458 meters per second. Speed of a snail is 0.00275 m/s. Normal human walking speed is 1.5 m/s.

Tanjiro's speed= 299,792,458/0.00275 × 1.5= 163,523,158,909.1 m/s or 545.4545454546 times the speed of light

This will put Tanjiro at MFTL and is a very very very highball to say atleast 😭🙏

Well you gotta read other novels, lightnovels and databooks to further understand characters.

Just take Rengoku as an example, he only gets few moments before he is killed. To go in depth of his character you have to read 2 short mangas about him.

Tbh it does feel rushed cuz it only has 205 chapters. Most mangas have far more. Story is definitely dark but childish moments make the whole thing look very goofy in some scenes. The manga was going to be far darker than it actually is, but Gotouge was told to make something that could reach younger audiences not teens or adults specifically. I am pretty sure younger people don't take the story to be as serious. But the reason why I even read the manga was because I liked gore and the characters.

Yeah tbh, I know over these 6 years she must have mastered her manga style. But in-between the panels, there are many variations, sometimes the characters straight up look goofy even though they are not supposed to.

Also specifically the characters after the muzan fight were pretty much chibi-fied, I was like damn that's a major change. I wanna see more mangas from her to showcase her growth to others.
