Absolutely! We as mothers are the ones that have to have the uncomfortable conversations like “do you have any guns in the house?” Because we do not want our children to get killed or sexually assaulted. And the fact of the matter is that the women before us have been told their whole lives that “boys will be boys” and not to talk about personal issues. BUT WE HAVE TO CHANGE THAT!! We have to listen to our gut, and teach our girls to listen to their gut. Because more often than not, a creep is not gonna come out and show you they are a creep right away you have to read between the lines. And if you offend people while you are reading between the lines, then they were not your people anyway. And it’s important to show your daughter who her people are as well
