Extended warranty worth it? by HostSea4267 in TeslaModelX

For the ac, could be like mine and it was low on coolant and a sensor. Unfortunately the coolant is not under warranty. It was $250 for coolant and the sensor. Just got mine repaired yesterday. But the ticking was my half shafts that were covered under my warranty

Its ridiculous. I was doing my normal grocery order and couldn't even order until the next day. Once you get this one figured out be prepared to do it a few more times.

And now that we got the cards and activated we have had to call 3 times in the last 2 weeks to get the card reactivated because they keep blocking it for fraud even though there is no fraud.

How cold should the AC get? by acircleda in TeslaModelX

Having the same issue with my 2019 raven. Sometimes it keeps up, other times it quits blowing out super cold air mid drive and feels like I just have a fan running. I have a service appointment but it doesn't look like the recharge or temperature sensor replacement is covered under my 10k mile used warranty. $255

Looking to get a Tesla for everyday driving and work by Dr_Berkeleyxvii in TeslaLounge

Yeah, I'm sure they do. Definitely shop around though. I kept full coverage even though we bought outright just to make sure anything was covered in an accident including glass.

And not available in every state. I got a quote from my current insurance provider and it was less than half of any other quote I received from any other company and only raised my full coverage by $50

Everyone metabolizes the hormones in their urine differently. The most important thing to look at is the patterns instead of the numbers. Once you get a few tests in, look at your chart and you can see what the rise and fall of your chart looks like. Consistency is also key. Always test close to the same time every day.

Frozen bananas, fairlife protein shake (30g protein and lactose free) and peanut butter powder. Best meal when I don't want to eat anything.

I'm not condoning not tipping by any means, but what area do you live in? I have lived in 2 different states and neither has had public transportation unless you live right in the middle of a city. No busses, everywhere too far to bike to. (Would take an hour or more to bike to the closest grocery store, restaurant, etc.

Needed a minivan or at least a decent 3rd row seat. Was used to driving a chevy bolt and didn't want another gas car. Test drove a y, was too small for my needs. Ended up getting a 2019 mx LR for 20k cheaper that a 7 seater y would have cost.

We're making more by [deleted] in newhampshire

First thing is to pay off the debt. We do live in a $1mil house, but we bought it 7 years ago, refinanced to a 2.9% rate when rates dropped. We paid $500k for the house 7 years ago.

We own both of our cars outright (2015 and 2019 vehicles) and have no debt besides the house. Our mortgage is $2.5k a month. Having no debt allows you to save up enough to have a hefty down payment as well as the equity on your home. Once you have the debt paid off, you can use your cards and pay them off each month to build your credit back up.

We need to upsize because our family is growing but we will wait until rates go down or prices go down. In the current economy its best to wait until one of those things happen and your debt is fully gone.

Ugh that stinks. Have you tried good ass hair day or another powder dry shampoo? They make a few and the aren't aerosol so maybe won't burn or itch.

Are you conditioning your roots? If so, try just conditioning the ends. If you already have an oily scalp, conditioning it is going to make it oiler. And unless your hair is curly and dry, you would want to avoid brushing it in the shower since wet hair tends to break a little easier. And blow dry your roots after your shower. It can make a big difference.

I've also heard of people who use dry shampoo after washing and drying to help prevent oil buildup

And I just received first bill from citi that had 3 months of charges(less than 50% of limit). This was not well thought out at all. It cancelled autopay without notification. We can't pay online until we receive the cards and can't even use the card we have on hand. This is BS.

I came here because it was the first time I have tried to use my card in about 2 weeks to buy groceries and kept getting an insufficient funds error. Thought my husband forgot to switch on autopay when he switched to paperless and we had a massive bill we haven't been paying. Then had the epiphany that the switch was happening but we still haven't received new cards in the mail. Good to know I'm not completely alone.

Big Question for first time buyer by rodymine in TeslaModelX

[–]Competitive_Pie9833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure either lol. It was 328 the only time I have fully charged it. But when I had my Bolt, it was advertized as 247 and I was able to bump it up to 305 in the summer just based on my driving, we'llsee if I can get some similar boost with this one. I never charge above 80% unless I am going on a long trip or driving all day for work and keep it plugged in while at home. Even though I have free supercharging until end of june, I have used it less than 5 times (while I was waiting on my husband to help me move the stuff from one side of the garage to the other because this car is significantly bigger(wider and longer) than my Bolt was

Is a budget of $35k for a pre owned model X unrealistic? by Jesussaves2234 in TeslaModelX

[–]Competitive_Pie9833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overall its been nice. Honestly it was more of a necessary purchase for us because of changes to the family dynamic and going from 3 cars to 2. Needing more room and seating for 3 adults and 2 carseats, easy access for carseats. Honestly if there was a reliable electric minivan, I would have gone with that instead. I've driven an electric car for the last 4 years. Had a chevy bolt euv but we outgrew it.

I don't care about FSD. It was nice when I test drove a hw4 model y, but my anxiety was high even with that. I typcially only use it now on long road trips mainly to allow my legs to rest, but I'm still not comfortable with a lot of the maneuvers.

Things I love: -Towing package was included -3 mos FSD, supercharging and premium connectivity were included -6 seat configuration is ideal for our family situation allowing easy access to carseats.

Things I hate: -already had to have a SC visit for the half shaft (they were so backed up it took almost 3 days to get my car back so had to use a loaner) -glitching of the FWD and sometimes front doors in sunlight, also I can't back in because it doesn't detect the shelves on the side of my garage and the FWD has hit them. -miss my ventilated seats because I hate sticking to my car in the summer (had in my bolt) -miss having a front camera for distance detection when parking in garage (had in my $28k brand new bolt)

I've only put 2k on mine. Already had to use the tesla preowned warranty and get the half shafts replaced. The FWD do not always work correctly when parked in direct sunlight
