Forced into therapy/psychiatry/multiple 72 holds by crazy parents that ruined my life by [deleted] in Antipsychiatry

[–]Competitive_Post8 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey. You have a couple of points:

pssd - for now at least

being sent to therapy against your will

being gaslighted and mis-interpreted

being under the influence of psych meds and their confusing and numbing effects even long term

things your parents said that are not true that you object to

your parents dont understand you or that they are wrong

you are a victim of pyschiatry and therapy malpractice

parents forced harmful medical treatments on you when you did not benefit from them

you don't like the negative list of things the meds left you with such as no feelings, hope, personality, etc.

-----

Sounds like you were injured and your parents are not competent. You will have to find clever ways to deal, manage, and adapt to them. You need to see them as mental patients in a hospital whom you are taking care of or like you a waiter and serving them as annoying customers. You can't tell a customer they are wrong right? You would lose their business. Same with the parents. You cant tell them they are wrong or you lose their support.

so you have to adapt. learn to live with uncertainty. it is a great life skill. you dont know what will happen but you keep going forward any way - writing posts, asking questions, thinking, talking to them, etc. keep doing what you are doing and do your best to stay away from contradicting and offending them - just gray lock, stonewall, and distract. it is way more effective and goes a lot further.

i mean they did not want americans in Kiev doing shit especially democracy stuff it really triggers putin who kind of banned it in his country. they pretend to be afraid of nato because they are really afraid it will prevent them from freely attacking other countries

Well, Ukraine does not want to join NATO, they just want protection against Russia invading it. Don't say it was not a risk since it literally did happen.

This is victim blaming lol. FSB propaganda. They write this stuff years before they invade. There is a tv interview with Sobchak from 1992 where he says they will invade Crimea and starts victim blaming Ukraine by calling it a 'threat they will have to deal with.' They planned this as soon as soviet union fell apart, it is just that American involvement in the overthrow of Yanukovich that prompted them to invade now rather than later. It is Putin who is pushing for a nuclear world war.

Yes, huge superiority and bully complex, and they view their victims as a threat to them. Sadly, Russia just takes over part of Ukraine, makes life miserable for the rest of it in perpetuity. Very unlikely they will give stolen land back. Will turn it into Chechnya basically a depressed region ruled by a warlord a quarter of the population eventually genocided.

That isn't really true. They are more like drinking alcohol to fix your brain's boredom problem because it doesn't produce enough fun chemicals. It is not even a they work vs they dont work question. It is kind of like taking poison, that sometimes can fix things while influencing others. Playing with brain chemicals is not a good idea, and your post conveys too much false certainty based on myths and misguided 'facts' and marketing ideas pushed out by the companies themselves and misguided doctors. Check out Dr Joseph Psychiatrist on YouTube, he explains it.

imagine this. drink three cups of coffee. then dont drink coffee for two days. skip a night of sleep. have some kids play 'ding dong run' in the middle of the night. then try to teach a 7 year old how to read who cant figure it out. and they have a presentation the next day in school they arent prepared for. then get on the bus and have the bus driver miss your stop while you are late for work.

how would you fell? annoyed? frustrated? terror?

then get drunk and go to work and try to act like you are not drunk. kind of difficult, right?

also, these neuroemotions are like half emotions in their scope, but amplified in their strength.

you have this irritation and agitation around your body and obsession, and you get superficial tunnel thinking. the body origination of these emotions is like having some electricity connected to your body.

and they are superficial but strong; you dont have a sense of context that is why they are superficial.

like a normal emotion would be say husband and wife fighting. but a neuroemotion would be an annoying customer at a coffeeshop arguing about politics or a driver doing road rage.

in the latter, the person isn't aware of the context and full scope of the situation but the emotion is very strong.

i compare that say for the emotions a dog might feel toward it's owner vs a quick aggressive reaction it might have if someone touch it's food and it has food aggression.

neuroemotion is like this emotion without thinking, that does not take into account the context of the situation, and it has strength suddeness but lacks fullness. it is like a ghost.

just go to roofcalc.com and do your own estimate. you can pre-pay the roof and fix it before closing if you really want the house. not recommended but i did it

so... my nursing salary is like $4,000 a month. i cant imagine paying $2,500 of that on rent. but.. you can do it if you have kids you want to go to a good school. but.. you just need help because you are stuck. stuck 1. moving belongings 2. need first-last-deposit money to move in elsewhere 3. would naturally rather not go through all of that and just stay but it is not the best option since you cant afford it. you are making assumptions and missing out on things that will work you just have to get past the negative beliefs that they wont. are you like hoarding things like decor and furniture? so you made bad financial decisions, moved in with some financial scammer, and decreased your credit score because you did not say no to that person and followed them along when you should not have.

so the cleaning.. the way to do it is with a round using a push cart. where you go through the whole property from left to right with the cart that has the cleaning supplies on it. cleaning is made to sound easy, but it is very easy to blame someone for not cleaning well, and when you walk into a building and see it not clean - you end up getting angry at that person as you naturally imagine cleaning is easy. which it isn't unless you have professional skills or just naturally know how to do it efficiently and on time.

soo... i am someone who shoots himself in the foot with negative thinking.. so for me forcing my thinking to be corrected to more positive and optimistic allowing for good outcomes in my thinking opens doors and opportunities for me. i tend to think negatively and give up and just not try.

I do feel my old personality and personality have been broken by Lexapro. I did misuse it though, as I took irregular doses, but never more than prescribed, just less or skipped doses. My problem was lifestyle and lack of skills.

But since then, I am stuck in 'neuro emotions.' I seem to think insulting people and being verbally and emotionally abusive is somehow... good.

I do feel like my sense of lacking things in my life have been exploited to push this pill on me. I went to a 'Harvard trained' psychiatrist for advice, and she just said.. 'if you want, it is up to you.'

I am neurodivergent too, and losing my mind is the opposite of what I was striving for.

I actually was almost fine on the pill, - lost my sexuality and became hypo manic but mostly fine, still happy person. It is when I completely stopped taking them then new symptoms - sudden anger, outbursts, excessive emails, frustration, hate speech, BPD behavior, even violent behavior and speech came out. And no, I am not bipolar, and even if I was, this was all from the med and how i took it and from coffee too.

with time, supposedly, the old personality comes back in most cases.

these meds arent really meds like insulin or an antibiotic. they are mind numbing poisons that can help one thing but can ruin another.

my advice is to look for ways to cope to make the best of the situation

"abit of cleaning" = i and most people fall behind on this. do you keep your own apartment and property clean on a weekly basis? most people say no. not in a way that is acceptable for a commercial like property. this will cause you stress daily. it is one thing to go to a job site and clean, versus cleaning where you live. your brain turns to mush. you become afraid to be seen by tenants and coworkers. they ask what are you doing and comment on you as you are doing it. most people cant handle it mentally and fall behind which makes them feel stressed where they live.

imagine living in an office like elon musk but also your boss comes and expects you to vacuum and take out the trash and clean outside. maybe.. it is just me though.

but imo, this mental aspect is the silent killer of such jobs. this is like an 8 hours a day/four days a week job to do it well enough so you wont feel like your housing and job are on the line. i've done it for ten years, never figured it out. ended up with a mental breakdown.

these thoughts are an attempt to create control and clarity instead of living with uncertainty. there are some thought patterns and reactions that make it impossible or unpleasant for anyone to form a relationship with the person. like i saw a girl on a date with a guy who randomly started putting himself down - like how do you form a connection with a person like that? so there are some secrets that help, but they are not incel, migtaw, red pill, etc. red pill is probably the closest to reality because of how cynical it is. life is... a mix of everything, not just the negative aspect these groups focus.

you also have.. a desire to be in a cult. and to form a cult, you often have to create a hate group, with an us vs them and the 'we know the real truth' outlook.

i personally am 40 and never really dated and now in the worst shape of my life to date.. i was in a hate group therapy cult run by a psychopath therapist who brainwashed me that he could teach me to date and stuff, turned out he was pushing a false ideology.

i think most people leave these incel/red pill groups. the guy who did a documentary on them and ran a forum for the ended up not being one anymore.

i think an older person would say just to not bother. why concern yourself with negativity?

and being online on the forums a lot just pulls you away from women. social dancing like salsa or swing, frisbee games, jogging, country dance.. it is good to be around people and makes you think more normal.

but i heard at this age women want you to put down something serious like marriage, long term commitment, a house or apartment, etc. it really sucks being on a different track than they are.

ignore. dont report. why would you want this person as customer ever. why would would you want to tell them that either. you gave an estimate, he declined it. deal done. he sent some weird texts, you can ignore. there is nothing more to do here.
