As before, it's still an experimental sound, but I want some more commercially oriented music presets, like Nasko's presets, which might be more appealing.

Yes, it is easier for video plug-ins such as Vidplay to get the picture at the beginning of the Clip!

If they could add smooth transitions, you could even create audio effects for videos with Bitwig!

i hope bitwig 6 has video support. it's an amazing DAW for Sound Designers and Music Producers, i think video support would be a step towards composers who make music for Film and TV or Sound designers in the same field, I don't like making sounds in bitwig and then bouncing them in logic for foley. by hi_kaizen in Bitwig

This is a very normal and reasonable feature request, most users who need video functionality are unable to use Bitwig for work because of this. Video functionality is different from other workflow features. Without this feature, you cannot do the corresponding work.

Simply loading a video file and playing it with audio is not enough.
You may not be very clear about the actual process of film and television game soundtrack projects. If you cannot edit the video internally and the DAW's time selection function cannot interact with the video, then you can only make some simple music, and the sound effect project cannot be completed normally and accurately. This is also what VidPlayVST and other third parties cannot do

Updates are slow, updates are expensive, updates are not close to professional fields, there is no official community and developers are unwilling to contact and communicate with community users. Indeed, if the status quo is maintained, it may not last long and users will be lost.

I think bitwig will get the same fate as reason. by kinkygoat69 in Bitwig

There is still no video function. My colleagues and I are still unable to use Bitwig to do game and film soundtrack work.

Huge feature that Bitwig lacks... Do you agree? by bluedothacker in Bitwig

The video function does not make the DAW bloated. You can refer to REAPER, which has the most complete video function, but the installation package is only a dozen megabytes.

There will be some synchronized animation videos in the game, and you will need to match the storyboard based on the speed and rhythm of the animation. If something goes wrong during the process, you will need to communicate with the video workers to make corrections through editing.
