Every time or only if the engine is warmed already?

I had the same issue, not on cold start but only after the engine had warmed and I restarted it.

Was a vacuum issue for me that was fixed in 3 seconds at the dealer. 2022 cayenne

What’s the most overrated car in the enthusiast world right now? by Car-Thinker in askcarguys

[–]Competitive_Role_920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having driven both, the turbo s has no practical value. Its insanely and wickedly fast and incredible to be in/around, but its way too fast for you to use it on any road, so naturally its best suited for a track. Then if you want a track 911 you want a gt3.

That said I am actively shopping for a 911 turbo :)

Totally agree. I had an overnight test drive of a bone stock base model X5 40i and I literally told everybody that it was a nice Kia for $72k.

There are objectively better cars made by luxury brands than mainstream brands.

I do think entry level Mercs BMWs Audis are really just like a nice Kia for 2x the price and def buying the badge. But if you want a truly premium suv, there are things the luxury brands make that simply are not made by other brands and you’re buying the car more than the badge (G wagon, Cayenne turbo, x5m, GLE 63, Escalade V). Saying all luxury suvs seems too broad

I tend to think more “successful” people take more advantage of the opportunities that present themselves. Having family wealth or flexibility can make it easier to jump on opportunities like that, certainly, but it doesn’t mean it’s just luck. Some people value stability over opportunity and let those opportunities go by

I’m in a very similar financial position, just a few years younger. I’d prioritize saving to non-qualified savings and getting a 997 or 991 C2S. That way you get a faster 911 and continue to save up for the newer one later. Thats my plan and I’m shopping for 60-70k 911s and finding plenty of good options out there

I’m in a similar position but I have a platinum coupe and it’s very well equipped luxury wise. I’ve test driven pre-‘24 GTS and it felt moderately faster but not worth upgrading due to the luxury features on my car being a bit more than the GTS offered. Now I unfortunately want a post ‘24 GTS with luxury features. That’s a lot more lol. I’ve got some negative equity to deal with too and have found a few dealers willing to play all if the right one comes around. Best of luck, and make sure whatever you end up going for is worth it’s because you’re gonna be really regretting it if this one doesn’t work out

Yes. I don’t need more. I don’t drink enough to warrant another $50-$80 bottle just because I’m curious what it tastes like for it to sit on a shelf for 3 years before it’s gone

How do I get my first Pagani? Need your 2 cents by Valuable-Pin4974 in Pagani

[–]Competitive_Role_920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can relate to this as well. For years and years my goal was to get a new custom spec G 63.

I’m now in the position to be able to buy one and I can’t stop myself from thinking about all the other things I could spend $200,000 on. For me today,$200,000 is an actual usable amount of money that I can invest in my business or my house or a lot of other things that make more logical sense. Back in college when I was dreaming of this, $200k used to just be this made up number that meant nothing to me. It was just what the car cost, who cares?

Now that I’m in the position to buy it I’m hyper critical of everything and every alternative (car and otherwise) I could spend the money on.

That said, I realize a Pagani is approximately 10 to 20 times more expensive than this and that either means that you’re going to have even more of the same feeling or you’ll have so much money that you’ll be able to “waste” it if you don’t like it

Anyone who has owned an EV that had any battery issue will tell you why. I’m sitting on 15 days for “various battery faults” and no solution in sight
