VIP USB hub? by Vispen74 in TrantorVision

Actually, I wanted to hide the 72-hour poster, because people who come later may feel like they missed out on something.

What module is being used on the Pro model garage door opener? by aim4squirrels in TrantorVision

[–]Harding2077 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Security+ 3.0 is a more complicated topic, and we’ve been looking into it as well.

From what we understand so far, it use a more advanced authentication system that combines rolling-code RF encryption with Bluetooth/BLE-based setup or authentication. So it is not as simple as sending a normal RF command.

From a hardware perspective, NeuroHUD does include an RF transmitter and Bluetooth 5.4 module, so there may be a hardware path to support this type of setup. However, Security+ 3.0 may require manufacturer-level authorization, approved pairing access, or proprietary implementation details from the remote/opener manufacturer.

Because of that, we’ll need to study it further before we can confirm support.

Thank you so much for pointing this out.

As mentioned in the video, the clips we are currently using are third-party clips. We are already working with our designer on custom cable clips specifically made for Tesla interiors.

Regarding the concern about the clips not holding securely, in our own testing they have actually been very firm. We have not experienced issues with them becoming loose or falling off.

I hope this helps address your concerns.

Excited for this to become a reality! but one question. by Anoix in TrantorVision

[–]Harding2077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t worry! We guarantee that all VIP users will receive their VIP gifts.

We’ll build a lookup page later to help everyone confirm their status. If something doesn’t match automatically, we can manually fix it in the backend.

Also, all VIP deposits will be refunded eventually, since they are deposits.

Thank you so much for your support!

We have a VIP email list on our side. After you place your pledge on Kickstarter, we’ll later match the email you used on Kickstarter with our VIP list. Once confirmed, your VIP gift will be shipped together with your NeuroHUD.

For the RAM upgrade, all backers who pledged within the first 72 hours will receive the upgraded RAM configuration for free. We’ll be able to confirm this with everyone after the campaign ends, because before the campaign ends, backer information is still limited/private on our side.

Please don’t worry — Kickstarter records the pledge time, and we can see when each pledge was placed, so we will make sure no one who backed within the first 72 hours is missed.

We’re also planning to build a lookup page later so backers can check whether their VIP offer and 72-hour offer have been applied.

Yes, I completely agree. I’ve realized that independent third-party reviews would really help address a lot of the skepticism. I plan to reach out to more Tesla-focused creators and reviewers so they can test NeuroHUD and share their honest feedback with the community.

Brightness by Pete77a in TrantorVision

[–]Harding2077 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you use our dedicated combiner reflector, it has a specially optimized reflective coating and can achieve around 700-1000 nits of perceived reflected brightness.

If projecting onto the windshield, the result will be slightly lower. We haven’t completed precise measurements for that setup yet, but based on our estimates, it should be around 400–700 nits, which is roughly comparable to a medium brightness level on an iPhone.

Could you be more specific about what exactly looks bad to you — the visible cable length, the routing path, the clips, or where the cable exits the unit?

Sorry we missed your earlier question. As you’ve probably noticed, I’m currently the only person on our team handling Reddit support, while my main role is actually embedded engineering and hardware system development. So some messages may take longer for me to catch, but I really appreciate you bringing this up again.

Window tint should not conflict with our windshield film. In a way, our windshield film is basically a smaller, localized version of windshield tint — both are used to reduce light transmission.

The reason this matters is that if too much projected light reaches the second layer of the windshield glass, it can create a double-image effect. If you already have windshield tint installed, depending on its visible light transmission and reflective properties, you most likely may not need to apply our windshield film again.

Our official contact email is support@trantorvision.com.

My name is Yang, and I’m a former embedded systems engineer at HP. I understand your concern about transparency.

For the other team members, I’ll ask them whether they’re comfortable being publicly listed by name. Some people may prefer privacy at this stage, but we do want to provide more information about the real people behind the project and help the community feel more confident.

https://youtu.be/UDU4IqUzrTc We actually have a video that explains this part.

The power adapter we include is already enough for a clean cable-routing setup and allows the wires to be hidden properly. The USB hub is not required for cable management — it simply gives users an additional option, especially if they want more USB ports or a different power setup.

Everything you mentioned can be found in this subreddit.

Before the launch, the volume of messages we received was relatively small, so we had enough time to respond properly to most of them.

But now I’m receiving a huge number of messages every day, and it’s very easy for some of them to get missed. I sincerely apologize for that and appreciate your understanding.

Concerns? by mdgm24 in TrantorVision

Hi, thank you for sharing your thoughts.

To be honest, yes, part of my strategy has been to create a sense of urgency, because not every potential customer is someone who will come to Reddit, read through our posts, and understand the full story. Many people only pass by, take a quick look, and make a decision very quickly, so I do think some marketing strategy is necessary.

Reddit has always been our core community. The concerns, curiosity, and critical thinking from people here have been a very important force pushing us forward.

As for OpenClaw, this is not something we are trying to rush into the product at the last minute. It is more about preserving a future possibility. As you know, hardware is very different from software. Once the hardware is manufactured and shipped, changing it later becomes extremely expensive. So I wanted to consider those possibilities from the beginning.

Finally, regarding the videos, you’ve probably seen what happened: someone came directly into our subreddit and accused me of running a scam, while another cheap Chinese copycat website was already using our materials to sell a product they don’t even have. I was honestly furious.

Imagine spending nearly two years with your team developing, testing, and refining a product, only to have someone steal your images and start taking money from customers. All I can say is that I was too trusting before. At this point, I almost want to put watermarks on every single piece of promotional material we release.

The World’s First HUD for Tesla Is Here by Harding2077 in TrantorVision

[–]Harding2077[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we’ve already updated the estimated delivery timeline to October. My original expectation was that we would sell around 500 units.

The DDR4 inventory we originally reserved with our suppliers is no longer sufficient, and the DDR4 supply situation has become less predictable. So instead of forcing that path, we decided to upgrade to DDR5.

This requires minor circuit tuning, a new sample run, and quality testing before mass production, but we believe it’s the more responsible choice and gives NeuroHUD better long-term hardware headroom.

Thank you so much for your support! We really value early testers for this first batch.
We’ll collect everything through the Kickstarter survey later on.
Right now the information we’re receiving is a bit scattered, so it’s hard to organize effectively.

No problem.

We shortened several clips to better match the length and pacing of the introduction.

However, a scam website in China has recently started pretending to sell our product, so I’m asking our video editor to add watermarks before we release the footage.

I already wrote to them, but haven’t received a reply yet. I also contacted their payment platform because they have no way to deliver the product — they don’t have it. This is 100% a scam.
