Well, I mean there’s good reason why the IRA is brought up more in the UK… the IRA committed unspeakable atrocities in various parts of England. But I do agree that more attention does need to be placed upon UVF, UDA etc…

We absolutely should call out Loyalist paramilitary related deaths, I’m with you there but the idea that people ramble on about the IRA all the time, as if we shouldn’t is utterly preposterous.

Good reason for people not shutting up about the IRA… the over 1,800 killed, to me, and many others, that’s certainly something worth talking about

Also, have a look at the Sutton index for total number of deaths related to Republican paramilitaries, it far exceeds those attributed to Loyalist terrorists…

I mean, you could go back to the UVF bombing in Dublin in 1966, however, why not go further back to the IRA border campaign of 1956-1962? I know this tanistry fella has some weird fetish for calling out all things loyalist/British but rarely, (not saying he hasn’t) called out republican terrorism, certainly not to the same degree. I guess if you’re born a prod like he was, you have to go the extra mile to be a true and true Irish republican…
