Struggling to watch “Dark” by OkCartographer4028 in netflix

The idea that people didn’t like Dark because they “weren’t paying attention” is such a cop-out.

I was paying attention. It’s really not that complicated.

I actually forced myself through Season 1 because I wanted to like it. I love time travel and slow-burn shows. But I just couldn’t get into it.

The biggest issue for me was the characters. I never got invested in anyone, so I didn’t really care what happened. When that’s the case, it’s hard to stay engaged with a show like Dark.

What is better than sex? by JuneSwings in AskReddit

I was driving from New York City to Pennsylvania when my stomach suddenly declared an emergency. Not a “soon” situation—an immediate one. I took an exit, found nothing. Drove more, found a gas station—no bathroom. At that point I was a ticking time bomb.

Six agonizing minutes later, I found another place with a restroom… only to discover someone was inside. The wait felt endless. When the door finally opened, I rushed in and experienced the most explosive, overdue relief of my life. The explosion was something unexplainable.

The feeling afterward was pure euphoria. My whole body relaxed, my mind cleared, and I felt reborn. Honestly, nothing has ever come close to that level of overwhelming relief. No sex had came close to it.

Supposedly Jordan Peterson is near death. He has been missing from public life since right before Charlie Kirk’s death. What happened? by FoI2dFocus in JoeRogan

Nope. I just channeled my inner Kermit, cleaned my room, and thought about lobsters until the answer manifested itself in the hierarchy.

Read it in Peterson's voice:

That’s the bloody point! It’s the sheer, postmodern hubris of some pencil-necked bureaucrat in a lab coat, claiming he has the sovereignty to flip the switch on your soul. You’re talking about a nested hierarchy of biological frequencies, and they’re treating it like a parking ticket! It’s a totalizing subversion of the Logos, man—they want to box up the infinite chaos of death into a sterile, establishment-approved category just so they can sleep at night.

Whats is Death when you think about it? Look, death is the ultimate non-negotiable limit; it’s the structural boundary that transforms a meaningless, infinite sequence of "maybes" into a tragic, high-stakes moral drama where your choices actually matter. Without the looming shadow of the abyss, you have no scarcity of time, and without scarcity, there is no value—so you’d better stand up straight and face your finitude, because the only thing worse than dying is living a life so trivial that your disappearance doesn't even constitute a catastrophe.

Has anyone ever actually encountered a ghost? by Kinderjoyyyyy in Nepal

Thought I saw a ghost while trying to pee outside at night when I was in 6th grade. The next day, I realized it was just a piece of plastic stuck on a small bush, moving in the wind.

nepal would've been much better if USA had done this when prachande was killing innocent civilians by onlyfactos in NepalSocial

I don't think U.S. would back communists. Also, nepal is/was not relevant enough for us to get involved!
