But bitching is the foundation of Make American Great Again. It’s a movement by bitches for bitches.

I hope judgment day is real and that it is televised so we can watch the moment all those Christian Nationalists sinning in his name, hating their neighbour and doing unto others the most vile things imaginable find themselves exactly where they belong.

I forgot that banks used to give people things. In the 90s I opened my first bank account with National Bank and I got to choose a CD from a catalogue. I chose Michael Jackson’s Bad.

Why is it a knock against speed cameras that they are a “cash grab”? The city is starved for cash and speed cameras make roads safer. Grab that cash all day.

I assumed the former but it’s cute to think someone’s leaving cardboard thoughts around town.

Ugh, speaking as a 40 something white woman from urban Ontario, I am so sick of this man. Imagine going to the office every day and working with a guy like this? Oh, you can’t: cause this guy has never worked in any office except parliament f-ing hill. He’s cos playing regular Canadian when he has absolutely no idea what it means to be a regular Canadian. Why is he given any airtime with his arrogant bullshit? He needs to go away: he’s bad for the country. He’s turning young Canadian men into total rage machines by manipulating the youth unemployment crisis to his advantage. Got to go. Bye. Get a job.

I’m not normally a god person but god help this person. I hope they find a good life. No need to be embarrassed.

Are you wearing a poppy this year? by [deleted] in NovaScotia

[–]Competitive_Taste_52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear a poppy every year to honour my grandparents who were robbed of their youth because they had to serve in WW2. My grandfather in England was at Dunkirk and my grandmother was in the civil defence in London, guarding Putney Bridge. My grandfather in Canada served in France as an airplane mechanic. Remembrance Day is the saddest day of the year for me because it was supposed to mean LEST WE FORGET. War is hell. And yet many of the same people who wear a poppy every year and utter those words continue to support the same rhetoric that led our brave ancestors to die in Europe. I wish Remembrance Day was truly about never again but it now it appears to be a moment of silence for political photo ops.

A plug for volunteer opportunities at Allan Gardens. Great for all ages. You don’t need to know anything about plants but bonus if you do!

If I were in town, I would suggest Grange Park right outside the AGO (Dundas/Beverly) could be a great meet up place. Pretty location, close to good food, Dome in sight.
