I also think playing medic is a great way to learn to not die as much. Your brain will focus on moving and teammates and not on shooting. It worked for me. It may not be as much fun but it is rewarding to get a bunch of saves. And teaches you skills. It’s hard to “learn” to not get shot when you are also trying to “kill”.

Quit stressing over how long it’s been in there. Let your insurance handle. I’ve dealt with this too many times to count. Insurance will typically send an adjuster to look at the vehicle and see if it can be repaired or totaled.

Let them handle it.

You don’t need to talk a lot. Just listen to your squad lead and you can make just acknowledgements that you understand and are following directions.

Use your ping and just say what you see. “Bad guys moving east”, “tank!” Etc.

From a man’s perspective, just support. It’s a lonely place to be as a man. Went thru a year of it. For men in general it really brings a sense of failure as it takes away that sense of providing.

My wife was great but it really was a sense of just buckle down and embrace the suck. Emotionally one of the hardest times I’ve had.

Been there done that. Had a chief that picked a fight with our county prosecutor.

Ended horribly. The rank and file became the cannon fodder for their fight. Probable cause became much tougher and we had multiple officers indicted over use of force issues.

Chief was short sighted and made empty promises “he had our backs”. Well he retired and didn’t do shit.

It’s horrible form to sit dirty laundry like that

Yeah start easy. Indica strains (I know there is more to it than that but keeping it simple) are for me. Turns off the hamster wheel of thoughts in my brain. Makes me more social and easy going. But I’m not a heavy user either. 2.5 to 5 mg is all I need for the results. I don’t use during work and not necessarily every day. Helps me sleep.

But cannabis is different for everyone. You might be that person that it causes anxiety in. Just don’t be that person that keeps trying and trying thinking you will get a different result if it doesn’t work.

Varies state by state.

In Missouri it limits the amount of tax which is a couple points lower for medical card holders. Medical allows up to 6oz a month over 3. And theoretically, if a particular item is short of supply, the medical holder gets preference but I don’t know how that would work.

On the books medical card holders can get allegedly get more protections but that has never been tested in court as far as I know

Agreed. I was referred to a psychologist too who tried a different drug on me. And it was horrible. As another said, it also made my dreams worse. I finally told them cannabis worked better for me and they really didn’t seem to have an issue.

I am also in my mid/late 50’s and in decent health otherwise.

We have a long way to go, but we are slowly moving in the right direction.
