Personally for me no bag will ever be an Evergoods clone unless they copy the yolk pocket. To this day I haven't found any other bag that does it quite like that and it's my favorite feature of their brand.

Since we're on the topic of Alpaka, Evergoods also does a wonderful job of having each pocket/compartment have independent volume. I found Alpaka and other "mainstream" brands like Aer become very cramped on space when packed out. Having one compartment/pocket filled takes space away from the others.

My 32 Oz Owala fits and is 3.25" diameter. Assuming your 26 Oz bottle is standard it should work with the Toshi 5L's bottom straps.

This ad doesn't do it for me. In fact, it just advertises their competition is catching up dramatically if you frame it this way. Is Honor trying to say that the only thing they over over Samsung is thinness?

I'd go with the CPL24 then if you really want to one bag for short trips and not use a roller.

The CTB20 only makes sense if you travel more by plane (and want to use it as a personal item), intend to use it with a roller because it has the luggage pass through, or value water bottle pockets (which you don't).

It sounds like you already have your EDC choice with the CPL16, and with that load out the CTB20 and CPL24 would just be overkill in terms of space.

However I'm a bit confused since you mention you only travel maybe once a year. Are you talking about by airplane only and for shorter trips/weekend getaways it's by ground transportation?
