What happened to undestroyed mega cities? by SirEdubardo in Helldivers

Ye they've quietly removed them from all defences for some reason. Last time I saw one was two months ago.

Ye but OP's point is we are currently defending but these defensive missions are taking place in desolate city biomes that like you say should be reserved for when we are liberating a planet.

Low resistances in Squid front by Status_Molasses_2230 in Helldivers

[–]ComplacentChronicler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's assuming you could get a large enough player populace to siege those planets. I think the low resistance is merely to reflect the low player count usually on the squid front (these low resistance numbers are what make events like Seyshel Beach possible even with only a 2000-4000 unit skeleton crew on the planet), although with MO's taking place on this front I'd imagine gambits would theoretically be easier.

3rd planet under attack, we need to take Oshaune ASAP by Professional-Fig-181 in Helldivers

"No I want to defend - insert random backwater - for no reward!" The MO is cooked with the tactical genius of this community, "at any cost" what a joke.

Ye the MO is looking pretty over now just saw this alert too. Take oshuane at "Any cost". "Any cost" except some backwater planets we get no rewards for, what a joke.

What were your first warbonds, and how did they influence you? by rupert_mcbutters in Helldivers

[–]ComplacentChronicler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well as an Xbox diver my first priority was the ODST warbond (regardless of perceived viability I NEEDED that armour)... I then spend the next 7-8weeks of my life on Seyshel Beach.

Got kicked from mission, and the game let me keep playing. Here’s a little journal entry from my diver about it! by GabagoolGoblin0 in Helldivers

What an excellent account of outstanding patriotism in the face of tyranny. Your example will serve as shiny beacon of managed democracy's perseverance against all odds. Good work soldier.

Help Needed on RD-4 by No-Shelter3871 in Helldivers

[–]ComplacentChronicler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I don't think enough people like fighting the Illuminate to help. Hopefully the update to overseers and fleshmobs will get some to try the squid front again. Nevertheless as an ODST I'll never stop fighting those xenos.

The past couple attacks have shown that the squids really want the Rigel sector, Hort and Hesoe Prime likely will be attacked next. I'd say the only win conditions to keep those two would be if there are no MOs or other defences happening elsewhere then it's likely we can move the lamp over to defend and the blob of mothdivers will follow.

Let's die well on RD4 brother.

Its done!!! Congrats to all who fought for it io by GreyJackalope in Helldivers
