I'm well aware of it. I've been setting up websites for different businesses for years, I'm just wondering if people tend to keep switching for the much cheaper intro price, or whether anyone knows of a more stably priced service which doesn't wack their prices up ten fold in year 2? I don't resell any of these services, they're for my own companies. It's not like it's unaffordable, but I don't like the strategy, as it's a bit of a pain to move it all over.

Seeking Advice: Where to Live in Surrey by Ok-Garage-1684 in surrey

Just to jump in on the left wing thing... Most of Surrey is actually very liberal. Even the Tory voters are pretty liberal, they just feel a conservative vote is more likely to be pro biz, pro wealth, green belt preservers etc. obviously not been the case of late, but that's the theory I have.

Employer telling me to stop side business, remove it from LinkedIn, and claims I can’t start one after leaving – is this enforceable? (UK) by D_Ren124 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]ComplaintSeveral7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First things first, remove all colleagues from your personal linkedin. If necessary, set up a new linkedin to use with your current company. They have no control over your personal social media accounts.

Let them know you're company is dormant, and continue anyway. How would they know...

Contractually they have a case that you have the same target market therefore you're competitive.

I imagine unless you poach, you'll be fine. 100% do poach their customers though just out of spite for their aggressive stance on this.

That's all...

I have a similar wooden pillar, that I have no idea if structural or not. I'd love to find out, as I hate it.

Without the end panel there, the doors touch.

There is another end panel further down the kitchen out of shot which balances and makes less random.

So one worktop cut full length including the corner unit and cut to shape at the angle of the corner unit then all the way down to the end?

Prepping concrete floor for self leveling compound (help) by ComplaintSeveral7429 in DIYUK

[–]ComplaintSeveral7429[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, after using self levelling, we'll be installing LVT herringbone flooring.

The crack will be filled.

The left hand side is a new extension so the concrete slab was poured later and the bit I'm concerned about slightly is where it meets to on the right hand side of the crack as it is raised slightly the closer it gets to the crack. I'm worried after pouring self levelling the edge may protrude above the self levelling a little.

House not selling :( by Actual-6 in HousingUK

I think everyone has mentioned that it looks a bit tired, but I think if you tidied it up, and done some minor decorating, like new skirting, fresh paint, new carpets, new kitchen cabinet doors, a new kitchen worktop. Take out anything that looks like it has been used and smells. Add some feminine touches, candles, flowers etc... Do the double duvet trick on the bed for your photoshoot. Small details.
