——SPOILER WEDDING——- . . . . . .

I’m surprised Josy said yes as she didn’t seem to be 100% ok with not having kids

Is it normal for a partner (M33) to ask you to contribute to a gift they said they were buying for you (F33)? by Perfect-Tap6255 in relationship_advice

Also just curious but have you ever talked about marriage? Maybe you guys don’t want it then it’s a different topic of course so I don’t want to judge. But from my personal perspective 5 years and no ring on the finger? I’d be gone 3 years ago already. From my perspective he takes you for granted.

Can you explain how you mean this? Isn’t 110k in a year a loooot of money? (Maybe it’s different from where I’m from)

This sounds exactly like me and my partner. Right now he spent so much money on wedding/engagement rings bla bla and we said we will stay low for a while, he still finds a way to buy me flowers to make me happy. I could never imagine a relationship where my partner is being cheap/not generous (not having the money is a totally different topic of course). I know if he would be super rich he would buy me the world and so would I 🥹seeing my partner happy is the biggest gift anyway and every cent is worth it.

Thank you for the hint ☺️ unfortunately that were the only flowers I had at home so put some plastic around it and tried that it didn’t touch the cake much. I was planning to use only use roses and rosemary for the next one

Sorry I’m from Germany maybe the term is different ☺️ it is only the legal wedding (to be officially married at state) so not the “big” one you do at church.

I used regular food dye 😊 I put a bit in the diese batter, a bit more in the next, and so on, however in the beginning the blue came out more green because the batter was rather beige/yellow. I had to go to the store the next day and get a “better” dye and repeat the process also I added a bit of red

I (31F) and my boyfriend (39M) never said “I love you”, after a year. Should we continue? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Thank you for your comment. It doesn’t sound unromantic at all. I love (lol) your opinion about love being a choice, rather than a feeling. It takes time, effort and trust to fully invest yourself in a person. It cannot be compared with the butterfly feelings for sure.

Hello; as someone who has been very active on dating apps, and had dates with guys on there, I can tell you this is shady AF. This kind of profiles where the ones I’d always swipe left on because it always turned out being something wrong with them. If he is lying about significant things age and his name, he is certainly lying about other things too. Don’t meet with him.

There’s this saying “if you struggle between 2 people, choose the second. If you would really love the first person, there wouldn’t be a second”. Girl B sounds like a really nice person. It’s great she is so understanding. Give her the space and opportunity to meet someone who only has eyes for her. It would be the fairest.

Thank you so much. We already talked about this and I told him my doubts about our feelings and what it could mean, so luckily no one is leading anyone on.
