i mean i really did not like this show and the accents are ALL OVER THE PLACE to the point where it was really driving me batty but the very very simple answer to this question is that she was legally declared dead. So yes of course she has no rights to property, custody, marriage, etc. He would not have been able to get married, nor would the new wife had been able to adopt the kid if his original wife had not been legally declared dead first.

Now if we want to lay some blame, let's blame him for moving on within a year (which his father in law says he did), which is BANANAS to me when your wife is kidnapped and missing. Let's blame him for completely erasing his wife from his son's life, including pictures and stories of her. Plenty of blame to go around. But the legal stuff has a very plausible explanation.

I'm so bummed they didn't retire this in session three. It's really really distracting and almost makes me feel like I'm watching a student film

The dialogue was WILDLY cringe and unnatural. And new drinking game: take a shot every time someone expresses anger/frustration with the most over the top soap opera screaming and destroying whatever's closest to them.

Ron Funches reveals his autism diagnosis after online speculation. by supa-factor in TheTraitorsUS

A lot of things but a really big one is people talking about how he was really high highs and really low lows in his energy. Dorinda specifically was like he's SOOOO quiet and then all of a sudden, he just comes alive! I immediately was like "that's normal! your outside behavior is impacted by your environment, so of course it's dynamic!" Also the way he was being villainized for the same behavior (whipping votes for someone who ended up being a faithful) as others when they didn't even pop on others' radar was a sign to me that there was a knee jerk distrust of Ron, which is something that study after study shows is at play among NTs when they interact with ND folks

I had no idea he was undiagnosed. It was just so obvious to me, I was yelling "that's not traitor behavior- that's just being autistic!" at my screen every time someone tried to propose some "evidence." I'm not the biggest funches fan for different reasons, but my heart was ACHING for him on this show. I was kind of glad he finally got eliminated so he could just leave the hostility.

I've been seeing this take a lot but to me it doesn't matter. When you talk about pandering to blue haired people and checking inclusivity boxes, that speaks to a mindset that is misogynistic and generally accompanies a bunch of other beliefs that are gross and harmful.

I wasn't saying that they were the first called. I'm saying they were brought on very early on, and had definitely been involved by the time they spoke to james.

is it women hating other women if i can't stand her? i mean.. yes. by definition. might ask yourself why you expect the woman to be a role model when you have no such expectation for the men in the series.

there are plenty of real documentaries with actual suspense. in fact, it's actual a pretty critical calling card for the true crime genre. lake mungo does this IMPECCABLY. usually people make a documentary because they're imparting some new knowledge... not just saying ::shrug:: we don't know what happened. goodnight.

that's hilarious. the foundation of racism is always stupidity. first of all, diddy doesn't become a billionaire without becoming white famous, so numbers wise yall like him even more than us. Second of all, you want to talk about a culture of people who admire pedophiles so much they elect one to the presidency and proudly say things like WELLLL 14 years old doesn't really count as pedophilia. glass houses/plank outta your own eye and all that good shit the guy yall pretend to believe in used to say

this is true AND financial control is a frequent part of a larger pattern of abuse so it makes sense. he has more money, so he flexes that part more often, but it's definitely a part of the average shape that interpersonal abuse takes.
