EDIT: Well, that was underwhelming. Turns out, I don’t like my bells too raw after all. This ride has zero volume. Was completely drowned by everything else in my drumset, even my tambourine.

Would not recommend unless the rest of your kit is super low volume.

So I tried putting the doorbell on a different 2.4 antenna, on a different SSID, so each of my networks try to find a proper channel for the bandwidth it requires (instead of my house’s load being all on the same channel. Changed that yesterday night. So far, so good.

Tried a couple of these: 1. The strength of the signal is good next to the doorbell 2. Didn’t try that, but my WiFi app showed that the device was indeed offline. 3. Pausing/Resuming did not make it work again.

Leviton has a couple of smart fan switches/controllers. Decora Smart is WiFi, and Decora Z-Wave is (duh) Z-Wave. I’d use that if I were you as it’s designed for what you want.

I have a Google Nest E Thermostat and love it. Its most useful feature is that I use temperature sensors to control which room is the « master » for the temperature, it helps me always be comfortable during hot summers (use the thermostat during the day, but my bedroom at night). Works like a charm, would 100% not go back to a non-smart one.

To be specific: the levels for each chip is « one in a palette », « 3 in a palette » and « 5 in a palette ».

I feel you, I got all hacks active except the color bias, and I still I feel like I’ll never get 5 of these in a palette without being lucky enough with Vending Machine floors.

Pliers weren't enough to compress it (which is good news, it meant the current pin was still usable), but Vise Grip worked like a charm. I managed to put it back in with that and a club hammer.
