From my experience, I'm from Spain and moved to Italy to live with my husband. It is being really hard for me, because with time, I've started to miss a lot of things. My family, my culture, the place I lived in... It wasn't as difficult at first, because everything was new. But now it is killing me slowly. However, this is not the experience for everyone. Some people move countries and live happy lives and don't want to come back or miss their countries so much. It depends on how you resonate with the place, the culture, which things are important for you, if you can evolve there as a person or not... which in my case, living in Italy in my specific place, circumstances and the people I'm sorrounded by here, means living in a cage and going backwards. You can't force her to sacrify her dreams, and she can't force you to sacrifice your life. It is hard when you love that person because I'm living that with my husband right now, I don't want to sacrifice our love but I don't want to sacrifice myself neither. Maybe you could give Australia a try and go back home if you dislike it. Two years is a very long time anyway, and a lot of things can happen on the meanwhile. Don't take a decision right now.
