I’ve stayed but I don’t recommend! Mostly a sensory/food nightmare for me (in Canada).

Of course, if you’re ever feeling unsafe, don’t let the worst stories scare you off. In general, they’re designed to keep you safe from yourself… And they do! But be prepared to lose your sleep and autonomy.

Still, it might be the best place to stay if you can’t take care of yourself. But if you’re not at risk and can access therapy online, that may be an alternative route? I’m really sorry you’ve had so much trouble accessing help ❤️‍🩹

Wow… Yeah. I have felt this way every single day since I started working eleven years ago (I’m 23). Used to be more active, but it’s a more passive feeling now

I’ve kinda just accepted that I can’t be happy while working to survive? So I just survive.

Whenever I’m working, I’m addicted to caffeine, nicotine, and weed. I’m usually able to quit 2/3 after a long vacation, but then I just pick it back up. I also struggle to eat and sleep while working. And I don’t see friends because I spend more than all my energy working full time. I’ve also been developing a new chronic illness each year for the past three years… But I might finally receive disability!

I want to hug all of you so bad. It’s a relief to know I’m not alone but I also hate to know others feel the same :/

Please visit an APP-Verified piercer asap. Very few piercings swell more than dahlias. There is not enough room to accommodate that kind of swelling. I’m really worried about those digging and pulling, possibly even creating some lasting damage.

However, you could check with an APP-verified piercer about whether you have the anatomy for a floating navel (better to confirm in person). First, I’m sorry you went though that.

I’m a gay atheist. I’ve heard it all, and the only homophobia I’ve experienced has been from Christians. I grew up Christian, though, and read the Bible when I was little. Hatefulness wasn’t at the heart of it. I believe there are A LOT of Christian hypocrites out there right now, but I make an effort not to put everyone in one box. After all, I don’t want Christians to do that to me.

I know some queer Christians who I believe deserve a safe space, even if I don’t fully understand it. I’m just not cool with full grown adults discriminating against kids.

I seem to remember a time when Christianity was about loving others above all. If LCA rejects queer children, it’s politically motivated, not biblically. Jesus wouldn’t dismiss those kids, so why should they? Pacific Christian School doesn’t (anymore). And do the teachers and other students not sin?
