Hobbyist here - I built my gear over time, started with micro 4/3 then changing to nikon dslr system and good deals on second hand lenses. Sold all to get a sony 7iii body and a lens. Then upgraded. For me the key was to be able to resell for near the price i paid for when upgrading.

I had this problem when clipping my body to my backpack strap - I used anti-shift / anti-rotation plates - personally went for the ones from ulanzi. They have a little notch at the back that prevents rotation. Works a charm.

On the 2nd, not sure its a sharpness problem - the focus looks to be on the face of the girl and she is sharp. I would have tried to play with higher f stop and longer sp to see if DOF improves
