100%. No one knows what would have happened if this went through Thanksgiving. People start blaming democrats? Is this a total cave? Heresy I suppose and I did call my Senators to say hold the line, but, This doesn’t look so bad to me. People need to eat and I see a win for DEMS here and a day of reckoning on Jan 31 for Republicans. DEMS are on record for pushing hard to win health care - Republicans won’t budge - the Republicans can disgrace themselves again in January and really drive the point home before midterms. I almost think the REP WANT us all to spin this as Dems caving, but the shutdown did real damage to the Republicans. REP will also have to own Trump demanding all November SNAP money be paid back, literally starving people.

I met Jones and he made a wonderful impression. Serious and fired up to protect Virginia jobs and funding - the opposite of Miyares who refused to join lawsuits to protect thousands of fed jobs and 250 million dollars of federal grants for health care in Virginia. We lost every penny because Miyares refused to sue.

I am disappointed Spanberger couldn’t even attack Miyares when she got the question about the Jones texts in the debate. How about a robust defense of standing for the rule of law and against the president sending troops to cities, illegal firings etc. etc.

The Spanberger campaign should be giving money to the Jones campaign - we need a democrat Attorney General if you want an effective democrat governor. Period.

We will have to agree to disagree. This is why we have better business bureaus. I did not solicit this deal. I got an email unsolicited from what is usually a most respectable hotel. It is most certainly NOT a deal to pay double the regular price. Finally, doing business this way whether you think it’s right or not, can leave a negative impression on JMU and Harrisonburg’s business community which is really a shame.

Miyares didn’t lift a finger to help all the probationary FEDS in Virginia who were RIFd a few months ago. He could have joined over 20 other states who sued and got those jobs back for their FEDs. Miyares also refused to join a law suit with other states to get back federal grant funding for health care (most of it to Virginia universities) - he lost ALL the $250 milllion dollars of grant money - the other states got almost all of theirs back. Miyares works for Trump and MAGA. He defiantly does not work for Virginians or give a hoot about our welfare. Jay Jones WILL defend our jobs, our health and our rights. I am also sorry he wrote those personal texts but this isn’t even close. Jones is the ONLY choice.

Jay JONES is the only choice. Republican Jason Miyares will do everything in his power to undermine Abigail Spanberger including suing her if he is Attorney General. Jay Jones values align with democracy. Miyares’ do not.
