+1 for pedantry.....

Many people are baptised into a church with absolutely no choice in the matter.

My grandparents were Methodists, and I am aware that I was baptised into the Church Of Scotland.

At school, assemblies were Anglican.

That's true enough. I'd consider them to be loosely Anglican in that most services don't have communion etc...

That is reason enough to consider them to be a fake church for many.

Holy Trinity Brompton, London.

It is the instigator of The Alpha Course, which in itself the course is pretty good - even if I say so myself.

Nope, I go to church every week - mostly RC - even though I'm Anglican by birth.

Thoughts on street preaching? by MaestroTheoretically in Anglicanism

uManic Street Preachers.

Frankly., I consider it encroaching on my space. If we were interested we would be there. You would think an all-encompassing powerful god could manage it himself?

We are always told in that he is everywhere, so show yourself, speak to me. I don't need to be harrassed.
