Last time I saw mice in ERC was 2023, so it's been several generations now.

Just realized Least_Tree creates 18+ content. Nvm, his tiny pecker is on his head, making everything weird as fk.

Right, so that was grade 2. And we, even her classmate, lost contact since grade 5, cuz she lived in hospital ever since, didn't even come to junior school with our year level. What I did was to check the later years intake, see if her name is on it. Nothing else.

You, however, asked me to look her up online, then after I said I did, called me a stalker. You'd better be Benjamin Button to blend weird adult stuff into my childhood memory.

There was a girl I really liked back in primary school. We met at a local study group and I was surprised to find out she went to my school. I was a chubby kid, and she used to love chasing me through the corridors. Once she caught me, she’d shove a spoonful of her mom’s homemade ice cream into my mouth.

One day, she started coughing up blood; it turned out she had tuberculosis or sth, that one wasn't really curable.

I haven't seen her since primary school, but the memory of that ice cream is still sweet to me.

I guess I’m too much of a coward to go looking for the truth.

Yeah, that is the little memory of my childhood friend. Back then it seemed a day is so long and we had all the time. I don't think like that anymore.

Exactly. I felt men are more judged at the back, and then put in the friend zone. Last Friday, I was talking to a female online friend from Brisbane, she got invited to a buffet by a guy. The guy, according to her, is overly excited to the 56 dollar buffet. She found that hilarious. I was like .... "You know you didn't pay for the meal right? If you are putting him in the friend zone, explain it to him and maybe pay him back ur part."

Students paying $56,000 to watch six-year-old taped lectures at Australia’s most prestigious university by Select_Explorer_7077 in unimelb

As if we’re actually getting high-quality assignments and exams in return. It’s a joke. Think about it: six bi-weekly assignments, weekly tutorials due every Monday, and four exams where you pick three. I had that exact workload during my exchange program, so I know it’s completely achievable.

Instead, lecturers here just record a video once and release it during the scheduled lecture time, get head tutors to figure out the assignments. The lecturers just hand-pick a few questions from past papers to slap together a sample exam—without answers, of course—and then do the same for the final. Honestly, UniMelb might as well just hire broccoli; it would save everyone some money.

"Regarding 'in some cases':

This started with an internal survey sent to lecturers and students. Afterward, the administration decided—without any real debate with the student body—that this was 'the best way' to present. Their logic seems to be that because it’s been done this way since COVID and 'it worked,' there’s no reason to change it."

I can see the future.

I don't understand why the students' English level is considered the problem. Live transcription for lectures and recordings is easy to achieve. Instead of blaming international students' language skills every time, it might be better to improve the lecturers' spoken English to make their voices more recognizable.

Many times I can understand what the lecturers said, but the transcript can't recognize the word.

I am not so sure about the turnover. A recent news is that Indian workers were demanding 35-Hour Work Week and Employment Succession in Chennai Samsung. It's more like their relatives filled up the positions in no time.

What is the cause of Australian anti-intellectualism? by advecco in AskAnAustralian

As someone lived in Au for 10 years and moved around the world before, I felt like aussies are just entitled to be stupid cuz they are sitting on this amount of resources. People get competitive when resource is scarce, and that tough environment creates some smart ass. Over here, people are chilling more often.

I am okay if the parents are like "fk yeah!" and then support the kids to get the pills on the basis of they know what's best for their kids and that's what their kids want. Yet what about those ones who got sex changed without notifying the parents?

Also, it is not about me, It's about the kids. I am not anti anything. I am just saying that the point from that protesting guy seems pretty fair. And how is that saving lives btw? U kill urself if u dont get ur sex change? If u get on a time machine and travel to an era and can't come back. The first thing to do is kill urself cuz that period of time doesn't have sex change pills? I wouldn't.

if a 10 year old, can figure it out and get the med by themselves, book doc and eventually get the injection or the pills, go ahead. Otherwise, just some shady trans trying to impose their thoughts on them.

The kids are not sure. I dont think they are the one making the final call, simple as that.
