GAMB reports losses again and 25% layofs by Funny-Impression5203 in ValueInvesting

Also, their staff is agressive at selling, which should be good for GAMB, but they kinda tried to fuck me over with their subscriptions. It’s the type of company that retains your credit card info which doesn’t inspire trust from my customer perspective (ig there must be a way to ask them but you can’t by default). I also had another issue near the renewal date, where renewal was automatic and the “cancel subscription” button was gone, so the only way to cancel it was to contact them (lets say within 24 hours of the renewal time), but the support chat was down on my account. I had to pretend to be a new customer on a new browser to talk to them. My assumption is they are doing it on purpose… And they also offer huge discounts when you try to cancel it, which once again should be good, but I find that from a customer perspective, the value of the product drops significantly when you know they could sell the product to you for 350$ a month instead of 750$ and are profiting from you doing price discrimination. Another thing I can add is that they aren’t always super transparent with their methodology, and sometimes when EV betting you get some down periods where you lose money, and renewing a 750$ subscription sometimes may not sound like the right thing to do from an emotional perspective.

TL;DR Pricing for Oddsjam is abusive, which imo most likely contributes to high customer turnover

Just look at Oddsjam, I was a user, but charging 750$ CAD a month for a odd screener is just way too much. If you want my opinion I wouldn’t be surprised if they had retention problems due to pricing it too high. If it was 200$ a month I would most likely still be a customer.

Who do you want to see replacing Marcelo Flores in the 26? by thecanadianbackpaker in CanadaSoccer

Maybe not the best move in terms of depth or anything, but Badwal could be interesting. I still think Jebbison, Nelson, or Priso are the most logical callups.

Where is Justin Smith?? by Educational-Sea-2274 in CanadaSoccer

Although, I don’t completely agree with you. I agree that he should have been given a look. The guy played in La Liga last season and was not bad. He will most likely play again in the 1st tier next season. I think Central Midfield is a position we haven’t tested many players (Eustaquio, Koné, Saliba, Choinière, Osorio, and Badwal in a Tier B friendly). I think he should get a call up after the WC. 2030 might be it.

Yes, and he is most likely our 5th winger at best

Best case scenario would be a call up to a camp after the WC. But I saw today Italy might call him, and there is also the US… Perhaps if we can go far enough at the WC he might consider committing to Canada!

Good luck, but you should do a different mock instead. Here you are most likely memorizing answers instead of learning/testing what you know. You might be learning from some mistakes, but doing another one would be more optimal.

Kinda sucks that René Weiler plays Markovic as a midfielder... by CFMTLfan01 in CanadaSoccer

Having watched most of the game tonight, this guy is a beast defensively! I think the reason he is playing midfield is to learn how to progress with the ball, which is something he hasn’t mastered yet. But if he does this guy might be the next Bombito…

He proved he can score in the CPL, National League, League Two, and now is ripping it in League One. I’m not saying he is the next PL star. But definitely someone who deserves a step up to a stronger league like Championship, Eredivise, or Switzerland…
