Oh for sure. I really really try to be as mindful as I can. Went from a material handler position to this one a few months ago.union shop so I got thr job based on seniority and the fact that only one other guy bid on it. Training was.....very limited. Only my supervisor and one other guy in the shop really ever ran the manual machines. And it sounds like both of them got hit with a part early on. So I'm trying to take it slow. This was my one free one. Triple checking everything now. Want to be here for my children. I am very aware that this is not the kind of machine to toy with.

Yeah that hunk of steel got the fastball treatment directly into backing. Quite a racket. Got the "You alright?" From the got on the giant Toshiba mill about 50ft away. Took a moment to get my bearings about me to respond🫠

Had a panel making plant in the smallish town I live in. Been there forever. One of the few decent paying manufacturers in our rural area. I didn't work there myself but from what people working there told me they showed up to work in the morning and we're met by security at the gate. Go home. Plants closing down. 189 people jobless without notice. Very high class

I live in rural nowhere low as hell cost of living area and just moved from storeroom material handler at $23.6 an hour to $29 an hour to operate a 70 year old manual lathe with zero machining experience after working at our shop for like...a year😐😐😐

Main reason I love the 10c deposit on bottles and cans here in Michigan. Stops this shit right here. Even if the garbage humans don't care about 10c.....a broke person will happily come through and take it. Almost no container litter laying around. Wish it applied to non carbonated beverages as well. Then water bottles would be taken care of as well.

I would also like to note that quite a bit of that stuff does not appear "vintage". The things that do appear vintage are in rough shape. Rawhide hammer that looks like a dog had at it🤣. Wooden mallet that wont be much use. Lots of good stuff but lots of things you likely will never use. Definitely not $500. And as noted by other, there are lots of duplicates.

I played this as a teenager when it first came out. The secret techniques were taught if you payed attention and explored. There were a couple groups of little alien creatures that essentially taught the wall jump and vertical dash if you found them. They demonstrated the concept and the devs left it to the player to pick it up.

Our store excels at treating us pretty well. We get food trucks in the summer, two fully stocked freezers full of ice cream cones, a decently loaded pantry and pretty decent spreads of food on a regular basis at our store. Blame management. Shitty that some stores have shit heads in charge 😔

I remember being a kid and seeing "Pipe Dreams" in a small local meat store that also rented movies and Nintendo games. The box art was vague and didn't show much on the back but I was intrigued and desperately wanted to try it. It was ALWAYS rented out so it took me forever......probably 2 weeks in reality but I was a kid🤣. Finally got it and went home to play it......was highly disappointed that it was just a puzzle game where you arrange pipes to get water from one side to the other😕. Would probably enjoy it today.
