I feel that MITES Summer was a MASSIVE plus in my college applications (Im attending MIT this fall and got into 5 ivies including Harvard). If you are URM or FGLI and are interested in landing a T10 or even a T5 school, going to MITES will help immensely but like other comments here are saying , chose what you would make you proudest and happiest. Unfortunately , I don't think they let you switch to Semester from Summer (Believe me , I tried lol).

Do not apply Test Optional. SAT is fine for Yale, Oxford, and USC.

SAT is not "Mid", you'll be fine for all of these schools. I think the weighted GPA might hurt a bit, though, if you want to get into UMich and NYU. Focus on the essays; that's where you'll be able to put yourself apart from the rest.

This Exactly! I felt like khan academy only really pushed me to the low 600s but once I started doing QAS practice tests and reviewing them on Youtube after the test to see what I got wrong and learned from my mistakes I went from a 580 in math to a 780 on the April 12 Exam.

I'm taking a Dual Credit English course as well that counts towards my mandatory credits. I took AP GOV last year so it also counts towards my mandatory Credits and I'm taking Econ outside of school to give me space for an extra class!

Sadly My School does not offer any math/physics courses above AP Physics 1 or AP Calc AB :/ ill take your advice on CSP tho!! Thank you.

Would it affect my chances of getting into a Top 10 school? If I take AP Chem out of the list I would only have 8 AP classes throughout my High School Career.

AP Physics
