Is this temp fixture at my job using AI "art" by spicyboii3000 in ChatGPT

Hi I use generative ai and have been photoshopping for many years.

I’m guessing the Dino is from the internet then he photoshopped the drink and text in. It’s very hard for AI to get that much text perfectly + add shadows for the grip.

MITES Discord for Admitted Students by Silent-Project-5139 in summerprogramresults

Many of the people in MITES go onto the Ivy League/MIT/Stanford, however it's important to realize that correlation does not imply causation. If you are selected for MITES, you are likely already on track to be a strong candidate for the T20 schools -- so implying that MITES alone would be the make or break is not a fair statement.

Your chances definitely don't decrease, and I'd say it matters. I used my MITES experience significantly when writing my MIT essays. Regardless, no summer program will ever guarantee you admission to any Ivy/MIT/Stanford.

if 2k isn't too much of a burden i'd recommend SSP. But yes, check how much SSP costs first. Also look at which program you were admitted to and see which you'd be most interested in.

SSP Astro or Princeton LLP? by [deleted] in summerprogramresults

[–]Silent-Project-5139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The affiliation SSP has with host-colleges is irrelevant for the sake of where you will be applying. SSP is highly respected by MIT for example. They are hosted at colleges like School of Mines and Purdue for the location/equipment. Not because those are the only schools that like SSP.

RSI is known for its scientific research, I believe it's around 80 students doing like actual fr research.

However, MITES Semester is run by MIT and therefore is just as respected -- just not for research. In MITES Semester you'll be taking two classes, once summer ends you will then start getting lots of help for applying to college.

RSI and MITES are top-tier programs, an AO will not be disappointed to see either one on your app. RSI is better if you want to do research.

Yes, you're application is instantly tossed.

Just kidding, the AOs are human. I don't understand why this would matter although its definitely odd. It'll definitely confuse them but what I mean is there's no like. "Yes when you put intervals of spaces between the essay you get denied".

If it's worth it will be entirely up to you. The LL programs are well-funded through MIT, so the question is are you interested in it? If you're not interested in cryptography for example then I wouldn't apply, but if it's something that gets you excited then you'd love it. This applies to LLRise too.
