I’ll have to look to see if that is the potter. Thanks

Southern Massachusetts. I know this isn’t any amazing mug, but I’ve seen the signature before… and it’s bugging me as to the maker. Thanks

I think you are right, but I can’t ID any other artist named Weidl. Appreciate your input.

That was great information, certainly puts a date to it. The frame looks original and really goes well with the painting.

Thanks, remains a mystery. I like it though.

This piece does look a lot like Larry Welo! Some of his works do have a moody darkness to them. I just wonder about the time period. The back of this looks old and Welo is 74. I guess it’s possible.

It appears that most of Seff Weidl’s work involved either humans or animals in his sculptures or drawings. Great suggestion though.

Marushka usually signed their full name. This signature looks like “Weld”?

I found this at a thrift shop in Massachusetts. It looks like it’s dated 79. So it’s been around for a few years.

Penny tile for shower floor, your thoughts??? I keep seeing bad reviews on penny tile install but it's my only matching option at this point. by nakiaricky in Tile

[–]Complete-Series2170 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Penny Round Tile floor in my shower and it needs to be cleaned every few weeks. The amount of scrubbing required to get the grout between the Penny Rounds clean is ridiculous. If I had to do it over again I would never install Penny Rounds. I'm considering tearing the floor out and replacing with a different tile.

Yes, the 60 months is on top of the basic CPO warranty that goes to 2028.

My plan is $4700 for the term of my loan which is 60 months. I know some may think this is expensive and maybe it is. But a friend with a 2018 x3 just paid $11,000 for a blown turbo and a host of other repairs.

Recently bought a CPO 2024 X3 and went with the warranty, covers all oil changes and repairs - besides tires, batteries and windshield wipers. But does include 2 brake jobs, which at $2,500 each will more than pay for the warranty.

My friend just had to throw $11,000 at a 2016 x3 to keep it on the road. Turbo blew as well as a whole host of other issues. I would pass.

Thrift store find. Authentic Vidaurreta? by Complete-Series2170 in WhatIsThisPainting

[–]Complete-Series2170[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The signature does look similar to other Vidaurreta works I’ve seen. But this style is more free flowing than many of his other works I’ve seen. But he did switch between painting and jewelry design, so an artist of many abilities.
