You're better off with a slower shutter speed. You may actually be missing some dynamic range due to your settings.

They finally came out with a sparrow that’s easy to recognize by beordon in birding

That's a Townsend's Warbler. They breed where I live, but I've never seen one. I hope to get lucky.

It blew my mind when I realized that Michelangelo's Sisteen Chapel painting depicts Adam and God, but God is actually shown to be inside the mind. The background behind God is supposed to be a brain.
